One is paying more for something that may pay off after a very long time... JP is counter to tanks but it gun has similar penetration to the much cheaper Stug III and Su-76 making a counter to medium tanks. For a counter to medium tanks its too expensive and has to much Pop. The unit should have its cloak fixed its VET 5 bonuses changed and: Either have it price and pop brought in line with Stugs and Su-76 (remain a bit more expensive according to its properties) or have penetration that allows it to penetrate heavy armor and lower its ROF and be closer to M36 SU-85 and Firefly. The difference in far DPS between the Cons PPSh and Mosin should be negligible. It's not how it usually works, but it gets a pass for being an upgradable weapon on a general use unit as opposed to a dedicated CQB unit. Aside from the Panzergrenadier G43, it's the only unit upgrade that hurts DPS at a specific range. I had to copy from the other thread since I would want to hijack cruzz's thread. I tend to agree with this thread. The solution is quite easy do not mix weapon that do not fit together like smgs and bolt action rifles. If conscript need a mid to far weapon replace the PPsh package with SVT package. If the Conscript need a new role replace all Mosins with PPsh... In: Lobby

If only Relic would take a page out of this patch's book and do the same for the Conscript PPSh. It's not as bad as before, but it's still a downgrade past medium range. The Volks MP 44 is a good example of how upgrade weapons should be... I have to disagree. A weapon upgrade should follow attempt to follow weapon profiles so an SMG should not be better at long range than a bolt action rifle. Relic should simply not mix weapon that do not work together like SMGs and bolt action rifles. In: COH2 Gameplay
