If the 3rd axis faction ends up being the Italian Army I think it's important the developers change all unit abilities to either surrender or retreat.

1) You should really read OP first.
2) Italian army didn't considered Sherman to be super heavy tank, Japs had nothing on that.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Did the Germans have any other use for you guys other than making the Panzer 35(t)s and 38(t)s along with the Hetzer upgrade?

Its from old, awesome polish comedy movie.
Basically, dude happens to be in wrong place at the wrong time, thinks he is the cause of WW2 and has some adventures while "travelling" around the Europe.
One of the places he encounters is the Italian military brothel on the clip.
I'm still amazed at people who believe we'll have any new army though.
If we did, we'd be in alpha for it right now.

Still, given the state of things, its much healthier to stay negative then be hyped and be disappointed.

Thats complitely false, they certainly did have plenty of stuff that could counter a Sherman, even a Pershing. I kinda like the idea of Italy too and it would also work, but they werent at all any better prepared than Japan was.
