Any one else care for 5 men squad for assault engineers? For like 300mp or something.

I'd happily pay 320 for a 5th man. Doubly so if it came with a small reduction to their repair capacity, and slightly better combat stats (ideally some armour or rec. accuracy).

With the exception of paratroopers with Thompsons the USF are sorely lacking a decent assault unit.

Either that or finally swap vehicle crew Thompsons with a weapon rack for them. Make the 3rd rack open for any doctrinal weapon choice rather than just being M1919's

I don't think Assault Engineers should get a 5th man since their damage output at close range is already one of the best in CoH2. Whenever I play USF, I almost always go Assault Engineers since if you get a good flank off, the enemy will be forced to retreat or get squad wiped almost immediately.

5 men but keep the current dps and current price. Something about squads with grease guns being super elite would kinda bug me. If they had thompsons I could understand. But nope. Also a buff to assault grenadier short or mid range accuracy would be appreciated.

And about their repairing capabilities-outside of critical repair they could not exist, they are not useless, but they are not needed as well.

This is actually very possible as every USF infantry unit can wield the Thompson according to the game files. It wouldn't be a droppable item however.

I'm thinking much the same myself.
Keeping them 4 man at vet 0 stops them crippling the early game but lets them have some viability once mg42 and obers hit the field.


I'd honestly gladly swap repairs on the assengies completely for a little armour, though. America is swamped in repair options.

As for the Thompson weapon rack, its something I've been dreaming of in armour company since USF went live.

This is brilliant. I was wondering what I could use to replace the Elite Crews upgrade for my mod. May I use this?

Buff them but increase requirements to 1cp to not make them too dominating early game. If they are situationally as good as rifles then it gives the USF player a choice between engys or 2nd/3rd rifleman squad. Anything that adds choice/play style decisions is good in my book

Something that makes it to where if you to dismount to fight they cant just jump in your vehicle instantly.

Rosbone: But this last patch has made good progress for grabbing players. All we can hope is Coh3 gets to Coh2s quality level before everyone abandons the franchise. Its Relic so they will completely f*%k it up as usual. But its a hope/cope.
