speaking of UI, why didnt relic just copy COH2 UI into COH3. at least its functional.

all this rework idea is just revival of the old USF when it was launched 2014.
remember when USF tech was linear LT -> CAPT -> Maj and weapon racks are automaticly unlocked based on tier unlocks. the Community whine about tech restriction, so relic changed it. Now we have bar pathfinders blobs in 5mins.
Frankly speaking, i believe in the current USF direction, just that the unit balance is a bit off, in cost and performance.

penals are fine as it is.
but yes penals will bleed your MP dry late game when you will be facing vetted axis terminator infantry squads.
thats when 7 man conscript squads come into play. not that conscripts are good in anyway, just that its cheaper and doesnt drain your MP. |

just make it cheaper like 50 or 60 FU, and buff the main gun AT damage and range and make it a makeshift anti armor.

i personally dont prefer to blob volks. the manpower trade isnt worth it and expensive in the long run unless fighting some shitty infantry spam like conscripts and Rear echelons.
i go with 3 ober + 1 or 2 squads of volks. the volks as used as a meatshield and to prevent vehicle crushing.
Anyway the best meta right now is still Panzerfusillers spam and blob. |

USF only have some slight issue against kubel & spio bait early game.
not too much of an issue early game against wehr until midgame where LMG gren terminators blobs start appearing.
mid to late game, your infantry will feel the bleed.
USF problem isnt particularly the riflemen problem but its the USF base unit balance which isnt on par in cost and performance wise. fine example Airborne spam. |
