T3 and T4 are combined at 240 fuel, Panther comes in at far less than that. If you build every tier for Ostheer, you get the following costs: 10 + 15 + 25 + 30 = 80 45 + 55 + 60 = 150 That adds up to 230 fuel, for teching the entire faction. (Don't forget the 20 starting fuel) Assuming your upgun idea too would cost fuel, I think you see why this needs be thought more thoroughly. In: COH2 Gameplay

How about Sturmpioniere, Panzergrenadiere? The only saving grace for tehm is is the ability to repair/wield panzerschreck if shit hits the fan. Give every short range unit smoke grenades and 1.3 armour and we are fine. Panzergrenadiers are not a close range unit. In: COH2 Gameplay

T-34/85 and SU-85 were more than capable of handling Panthers in real life, blame the game mechanics. Also you were the one who asked for a 1944 Soviet Faction, I am saying that cannot exist because everything is already taken except for SU-100. 1944 campaign would be great however, Ardennes Assault style. We already have 1943(-44) Soviets, players want 1944-45 Soviets. And what would they have? Shocks, ISU-152, IS-2, T-34/85 are all there. T-44 wasn't used, neither was IS-3, so you only have SU-100 left. Maybe the BS-3 field gun itself. That said an AA-style dynamic campaign themed around Operation Bagration would be amazing. In: Lobby
