Thread: Snare Inconsistency.3 Mar 2021, 23:19 PM Why this is thread is even a thing anyway? I mean, the only problem I see, is that not all snares kill vehicles on deflection, which is most likely missed bug and not intentional feature. Because if Relic had an idea that any AT grenades shoudnt kill tanks on deflection, then Volks pfaust would have been working like Grenadiers one. Its either Relic forgot to add this mechanic to EFA factions or they just didnt properly copy-pasted snares for WFA factions. No-one ever, not even tightrope complained about stats of the snares, his only complain was that not all snares kill tanks upon deflection, which is again most likely a bug. What is this discussion about penetration values and so on. In: COH2 Balance

No-one said that there is a problem with their scaling. Problem is the power cons receive the second they unlock and get SVTs. Their late-game performance is alright, because there are more units to face them be it armor or elite inf. Problem is that for a 60 muni upgrade on a faction which spends muni mostly only on mines and AT nades, its just too good for its timing, considering that SVTs put you in a possition of being able 1v1ning both volks and grens. On top of that allowing cons effectively engage them at all ranges outside of melee + in late game you will be stronger then them. Sure single Bar might provide more DPS, but BAR is locked firstly behind a fuel cost (which you need to get medics\LVs) and secondly it comes for the more expensive squads of a muni starved faction. In other words USF have a lot of consequences if they deside to rush Bars the second they can. Soviets on the other hand pretty much pay with 2 layed mines (which most likely will be triggered by enemy inf)\2 zis barrages\1 flamethrower, but all those choses are purely AI ones so in a global picture you didnt sacrific anything, because SVTs will give you stronger AI out-put then any of mentioned options strate of the bat. Nothing is wrong with soviets having stronger inf early on, but right now SVT cons are just too strong not in late game but in early to mid game. In: Lobby

DSP increase is not the only stat you should look in a first place. I mean, anyone who played the game would know that stg volks are not even near in terms of DPS delivery as Svt cons. SVTs are not the most OP thing, but it still over-performing for its timing and price, even as a doc weapon. If anything, its perfomance should be split in half and in order to get second half of corrent perfomance you have to get reserves unlocked. In: Lobby

Maybe it will make PPSH more popular compare to svt and 7-man. Thing is SVTs are objectively OP. PPSH cons are garbage untill they hit vet3, on vet 3 they are solid. Point is some of the commanders do have shocktroops and PPSH package, which means making ppsh into a proper lets say CQC upgrade kinda redundant. In: Lobby

Pak howie small damage, 120mm, small damage, ml20 5 kills after 5 barrages, 7L, i am done. They only buffed mortar pit, which was already pretty stronk, so i guess i will aboose more brits. Only scott and pak howie were nerfer. And for a good reason. Now in teamgames, USF has to use 1 more brainsell in order to win games outside or airborn\lmg spam into pak howi and scotts spam. Those discussions should not be moderated. Determining which individual units/abilities need attention is just as important as global commander rework suggestions. You honestly should provide more info on what you are planning to do over-all and what are the limits. You've said no swapping\new units\crazy but its a no-brainer tbh. But what about amount of changes? Number of commanders which can be affected and so on. What is the actual limit balance team\relic has. Is the commander patch will be focus on fixing OP commanders\UP abilities or pottentualy almost everything may be changed if its a minor changes. In: Lobby
