I am so glad that the Soviets were given three alternative healing methods for the infantry to compete with the opposing faction. Oh no ... I see a HT and Opel Blitz healing ... maybe I'm blind? Or was the Wehrmacht and OKW not healing enough?

in TEAMGAMES you have no map capping proplem...there are other guys with for exmaple USF rifles, IS and penals to cap it. You are the guy which support them with maxim spam on lane maps and urban...you supress then easily the grens and volks.
after that (u lost NO manpower in the first 2-3 attack from enemy (staying in sec line and suppress enemies.
you have no problem to get t1. and spam after that penals.
you only need mates which arent brain dead and wait the attack from enemy to run into the mgs. ( because you hold the important points with it)
maxim have fast enough setup time to avoid mortars and flanks.
you only need one mate which its at front of u to see the squads and u suppress them.
this works every time.
And I repeat again - show. Because you say a lot of time it’s 3 against 2 or 4 against 3 and if the enemy is not full noobs you will simply be locked in the base. So show me how you implement this, because when I play 3v3 no one ever does that. Show your skill and prove to the whole community which T1 + T2 OP. Because while I see only lies.
its very clever in teamgames on exspacily urban maps to get some mgs and mortars and spam after than only penals. you have easy early game...and come after this vs heavy inf and overrun the anti mg builds: mortars and lots of stuff
Show me how this is done, because when I was playing 3v3, I never saw this, or you are lying or we would play different games.
there is no big deal to get 1-2 maxims to safe good positions and get penals from t1.
this both rape everything (volksspam, light verhicles, bunkers, etc etc)
and dont forget: ppsh will now much earlier avialable. and the new cons are pretty solid with and weapon upgrade.
now we have early ppsh, great penals and a more better maxim? Comon..cant u see the this?
You say nonsense. No one, no one goes at the same time in T1 + T2 is a critical loss of resources, time and being on the map. Even if you first build T2 and then after buying Maxim and the Conscrits to capture the map, no one goes further into T1, people wait for the shock troops and build T3. Are we generally playing the same game?
That's why I want a price increase as well, to prevent spam. Being cheap add shitty mean that unless you spam it it is without value.
I realize that maxim spam is a risk, but even at sary 300mp, it wouldn't transition like penal spam would because it SAS no AT capacity. Build too many maxims and you have no mp for your guards or zis and if you need mote AT you need another 32+mp unit, you can't just convert your existing units as needed. Conscripts would add a b it more flexibility of course, but that's a good thing!
Let's say we implemented my changes with a cost increase to 300
That means 2 maxims plus the building is 760mp. That's 3 squads from both enemy factions. 3 squads will definitely out perform 2 mgs plus the Soviet will have no map control.
Thte Soviet will save to mix in cons jusr to get territory and make sure that when the time comes they can get AT.
Of course ideally cons will get a cost reduction to make this work a bit better but ultimately the maxim would be useful and cons would find a home as bodies to be around. You will, no matter how you decide to play always have an expensive but limited strong unit, be that penals, "guards, shocks or maxims, and a needv to make up ground somehow--conscripts.
I see no reason for this to not work in theory. I think as a direction it is at the very least worth playtesting some how just to see how it feels.
Maybe it still worked against that, I doubt that OKW has better starting infantry. But against the Wehrmacht, it’s just suicide - the Wehrmacht has the best machine gun of the game in T0 and (suddenly) the Wehrmacht also knows how to spam a machine gun while you capture points there and build T2 + Maxim Wehrmacht is already preparing for your arrival. for 300mp and T2 Maxim should be a bloody OP - because its price is absolutely inadequate.
The USSR does not need Maxim redesign, but the entire infantry redesign, which is terrible: Maxim should support the main infantry and not support the support infantry, but the main infantry is now in T1 and the support in T2 is crap.
They will be great at annoying and cutting off enemy territory with the new improved capture and decapture speed bonus. There's absolutely no need to give them an ability to disable points, that's just overkill for a 210mp unit that can infiltration spawn.
I do not expect the Partisans to have high firepower, but I expect the Partisans to do it completely to annoy the enemy, and the destruction of the point will be very destructive, send soldiers to search for a weak unit and engineers to fix the point. This is what the Partisans need.
Yeah I don't see that at all being super annoying when infiltrating onto cut offs.
Partisans did this too - annoy. And one of the main goals of unit infiltration is to constantly cut off resources, and my proposed ability is exactly what unit infiltration should do.
About Partisan trap ability, this is a strange ability for a friendly territory, while partisans must work on enemy territory and blow up everything they see. I think it’s better to replace the trap ability with another one: undermining points - partisans destroy any resource point and it becomes neutral and can't capture it until it is repaired.
