Thread: Major's Artillery Barrage - USF 11 Oct 2020, 01:50 AM Back then when I was a noob, I use Major as FT point so I can remove my mistake from rush infantry into MGs. But later, I rather use Major as my key support role. There is no faction that has a combat support role as good as Major. Barrage, fake barrage, recon, smoke. His main ability isnt only barrage. I once had vet3 Major smoke a defensive line, sprint right behind the line. Use both barrage to scare enemy units to resetup team weapon. Active forward retreat point. 4-5 squad retreat next to him. Break a whole defensive line with 100 ammo. You got the concept. Major, Lieu, Cap can gain vet from other infantry. Get Major to Vet3, this barrage comes faster, fire more, able to sprint, 2 recon planes In: COH2 Balance
Thread: USF armour10 Oct 2020, 12:13 PM You might want to play some Axis games or at least check facts before throwing around completely biased (and wrong) remarks. I started to play Axis in early 2020 TO PROVE Axis is OP. Just now having infantries being dominated by double Bar/Bren. Those guys need to play Axis for a few month before making complains. Thread: USF armour10 Oct 2020, 11:20 AM 145 fuel for ez8 now wow, as it is now you buy ez8 you lost the game, all good ill keep spamming jacksons what fun that play is. Thats the exactly problem of Okw Pz4 140fuel vs Allies TDs, pointless to build. The game rewards specialist units game play more than combined arms. a Sherman with Riflemen squad having a Bar & a Zook (multi roles units) can not compete a Jack with Riflemen double Bar. Or an Ostwind with double Shreck PzGren (specialist units). Not mention Specialist units are easier to micro. In: COH2 Balance

Ost has Stug, which better than SU76 in term of pen & armor. But SU76 has better utility & range. Stug is far weaker than SU85, which it should be. Okw as Jadpz, non turret TD like SU85 except it has a sight cone of 120degree, which mean Jadpz stay alone can not see anything from behind, make it super easy to be flanked. SU85 also has focus sight to make its self spotting. If Panther doesnt fill TD role, make it fill AI role will overlap Sturmpanzer's role. Try to play Axis, like I do. I main Allies for 5 years and started to play Axis since early 2020. I can feel the pain of outnumbered in both infantry & vehicles. Play Axis for a month or two and may be u will stop compaining. Thread: Tweak Fallschirmjäger - OKW10 Oct 2020, 03:07 AM I played Allies before Fall nerf. Super annoying unit to face because its easily to abuse. A good core infantry unit is a unit that decent at AI power and have something to defend themselves from vehicles (which is snare). Fall had mad AI power and used to have snare make them completely replace Volks. But later Fall got nerf. Nerf from snare removal, which is ok. But also nerf their 2 FG and requires another 60ammo is abit much. Fall needs another ability to replace losing snare (can be booby traps). And perhaps 2FG is free when PzHQ is up. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Conscript 7th men too much?10 Oct 2020, 02:30 AM I main Soviet since 2013, started to play USF since 2017. And in early 2020, I changed to Axis, shift between Ost & Okw. Recently I have a huge problems vs Allies infantry as Axis, especially Ost vs USF or UK. - I feel like 4men Gren is completly dominated since early game vs 4men Tommy. To late game 4men 1LMG vs 5men 2Bren. - Or 3 Ranger with 9 Zook and double Calliop behind (Last night had a match that 2 USF use 6 Ranger 18 Zook with 4 Calliop) I just feel hopeless. Any tips? Thread: So...my Tiger kept bouncing against a KV-129 Sep 2020, 08:11 AM I checked the stats and saw only better armor & another 2 bonus vet. I just cant believe it worth 20 more fuel though. So I asked again to make sure. When I using Okw Pz4, I feel its really worthless, mostly because enemy use double TDs which mostly pen Okw Pz4 95% In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Can we plz "fix" the CalliOPe?29 Sep 2020, 07:19 AM I like thedarkarmadillo's idea. Make Calliop a passive upgrade that allow a normal Sherman to upgrade into Calliop. Just like Sherman Bulldozer in Mechanize & FF Tulip. Then every barage requires more ammo. But then it may lead to 25pop cap (2 Sherman with Cali upgrade) and can do both arty & frontline at the same time. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: So...my Tiger kept bouncing against a KV-129 Sep 2020, 06:28 AM Both Stug & Pak has around 180 Pen. They're great vs core Medium and T34-85 E8 ect. But KV, iirc has 230 armor, at long range their chance to bounce is pretty much 1/3 of the time. Tiger is nothing but Panther that able to take another ATround and have AoE gun. As a former Allies main, Im afraid to see a Panther than a Tiger. As Panther can chase down and have longer range, Tiger cant In: COH2 Balance
