T34-85 can equal Okw Pz4 and will beat anything below Okw Pz4.
Just in team game your T34-85 will face King and a group of Panther
But you cant blame, since anything below Panther is too easily dies by Allies TDs
If an Axis player decide to stop at Tier3 and spam Pz4. T34-85 will have an easy time. |
I play Allies for 5 years and this year I started to play Axis.
Try it, and you will see Gren gets whipped frequently with cooknade. Especially Shocktroop frag.
Or RNG is never on my side. |

Maxim does high damage. Though MGs' main job is to pin down infantry. Lower pin, lower arc, with low setup makes Maxims arent reliable.
For me, its would be great if just drop their arc back to 60, then increase setup speed and higher damage makes Maxim more of offensive MG like back then. |
Unlike Eastern armies, Western like USF & OKW used to be lack off something, such as Lieu tech gives only AI options, Cap tech gives only AT options. But now USF tech is well rounded. While OKW struggle on something that basic need for every faction: healing.
Repair upgrade on MechaHQ isnt necessary since every faction has at least a Builder squad to do the job. Has long as you keep the squad alive, repairing will be free.
If both BattleHQ & MechaHQ have 2 options, either upgrade medic or repair. Im sure players with upgrade medic on both HQ. Sturmpion with sweeper already repair twice as fast as a Rear squad.
Brit Tommy has medkit, forward point medic and able to build medic squad. I dont see why Okw cant have a medic squad at least.

Ost & Soviet were well balanced, with Ost has best weapon team while Soviet didnt have any upgrade but Oohra and steal all the weapons.

What I feel is, if Medium able to easily pen Heavy from rear. It would make Premium Medium...pointless.
That will make 2 T34-76 have higher chance to kill a Tiger than 1 Comet.
2 T34 will do twice DPS as 1 Comet (Because they just have the same damage). Their total health is 1300 compared to Comet 800.
We have Medium, Premimum Medium, Heavy, TD. We should balance the class by making it a Rock Paper Scissor game
Currently Pre-Medium & TD just counter to everything, even to themselves.
For my idea. It should be Heavy > (Pre-Med > Med) > TD > Heavy |
If you are recrewing it with Grens or Panzer grens the 3 model on the TW will be harder to kill as compared to the TW being recrewed by any other allied starter infantry for e.g IS, Riflemen or Cons. The 3 models of allied factions will have larger Target Size as compared to the 3 models of Axis unit with Panzer gren being the lowest. This was my analysis, I would need someone to confirm this.
Also I don't know how this will help with your issue.
Models who crew the weapon team still keep their stats.
So IS still keep their cover bonus. I dont think IS crew weapon team is easy to be dropped. IS model is far superior than Gren. |
Gren is long range squad, Cons may beat some squad at long range, but vs Gren is always a charge in close (thats why Oohra & PPsh go in pack). You dont test an all range generalist squad vs long range specialist.

The Stug is an assault gun not a tank destroyer. The SU 76 as vipper just said has 60 range. The m10 is not one either in this game specifically, even though its named as one . It lacks range and sight so does not fit into the TD category.
