100 popcap, you able to get 14 RM squad, or Gren squad
- For RM, you have 70 models holding 28 Bars, or even 14 Bars and 14 M1919.
- For Gren, you have 56 models holding 14 LMG.
Dont just focus on price, pop cap also matter. |
All building jumping infantry have grenade cooldown start when they spawn. To remove to possibility of 4 Fall/Commando/Partisan from 4 players pop up behind your defensive instantly and destroy the whole flank.
Giving snare to Elite infantry totally break the game design where you can completely replace your core infantry with Elite.
Tell, no one complain about Stormtrooper when they have more raw power than Fall with their tactical assault. Because they dont have snare.
Though remove snare on Fall is not just make them no more spammable, but it remove 25% ability they have. They should give Fall another ability for replacement.
Since Ober is a defensive unit. Fall is behind the line unit. I suggest to give Fall Booby trap, it suit on Fall more than Ober.
Remove Booby trap on Ober and replace with a mine that only triggered by infantry. |
I think the problems of the Ram + Bombar tactic is that only able to used by winning player.
I mean 300mp 90fuel 250ammo is a huge resource that losing players dont have enough resource to use, or not dare to use because if they fail, its a certain lose |
Take a look at starter units
Ost has 5 units that all do different jobs. Gren at frontline, Pion sight support MG good, can be a soft defender for flanked MG. Snip & Mortar, nothing else to say.
Okw has 4 units, Sturm at close range good for urban, Volk is decent vs RM with their sandbag, Kubel hard capping in open map, Rak to defense early UC & Clown
Soviet has the largest unit choice early game (unlike Cons only back to 2013) with T1 T2
UK early sure lag units, at least each of them do different job.
What USF has? RM & Rear, both are just long-mid range unit with different stat in the beginning, and Mortar. RM spam was since 2014.
Remember Coh1 you can get both T1 T2 for Jeep, RM, MG, Mortar, Snip

Balance team should do something to punish blobing however, such as 2 squads stay close together (below 3-5m) will get de-buff. |
I know and I understand the pain of RM blob. Because all they have early game is RM, Rear & Mortar.
Not gifted as Sturm, Volk, Kubel, Rakaten or MG42, Gren, Mortar, Snip, Pion.
You have to try playing USF for a while and tell if you build anything beside RM. Like you expect USF to blob Rear or something?

What if..sand bag comes with barbed wire on the opposite side?
And make sandbag come with 10mp to make it not hard spamming? Except Cons' one should cost more. |

I remember when the I played Soviet in 2014 or so. I hated how Maxim arc is only 60 while MG42 has 120. MG42 was just too much better.
When I got better at the game, I enjoyed how fast Maxim setup time and incredible suppression.
Until Maxim get 90arc and lower pin & longer setup time. It becomes the worst MG.
Old Maxim rewards good players a ton. While newbie cant use it. |
Remember that Cons was the only mainline infantry can build sandbag. Next to RM with doc.
Later IS is so relied on cover to play so IS gains sandbag so they may able to play in early game.
And for that, Volk gains sandbag to bad to fight RM (since they still had Shreck). Later Pion also able to build sandbag so Gren able to fight IS.

Now USF become the only faction that lack sandbag (requires a doc). And Cons sandbag is no more unique.

WingZero: thats what I think, but if bring Pz4/Stug into the commander slot, I dont think it should be snapped into Soviet tech like T34/85. And should not be able to mass build Pz4/Stug (like how can Partisan can capture so much German's armor?)
Limit Pz4 to 1 with much cheaper price can be fit well with the commander.
