Thread: Soviet Sniper Fixed ?31 Aug 2013, 04:01 AM All of the infantry have 80hp with exception of sniper models who have 40hp. Edit: The German sniper needs to have more armor since conscripts have Oorah whereas German infantry do not (doctrinal ability does not count). Even with an hp buff the german sniper would be quite limited in its use as it would need to stand near an MG42 to feel safe, whereas Soviet sniper can attack-move run around the map (assuming no car on either side). Side-note: Can anyone explain to me why German sniper does not have flare (and also why the pioneer does not have demo charges)? In: COH2 Balance

Thread: What I view as very pressing issues31 Aug 2013, 03:52 AM Although I don't mind the presence of RNG in this game (in fact, I agree with the opinion that it makes it unique), it does have too big a range. Flamers sometimes doing barely anything and other times insta-critting whole squads. Mines insta-gibbing grens and pgrens or just killing one squad member. Explosions insta-collapsing full-hp houses. The difference between a vehicle immobolized and a mere damaged engine. A grenadier trying to faust a T70 only for the guy pulling out the faust to die right before he launches it and the rest of the squad cover-seeking-and-head-diving into the tank to be crushed. I know some of these cases are pretty extreme, but they happen, and more often than people seem to think. Frankly, anything so decisive that can instantly cause the loss of the game due to no fault of the player just seems wrong. There just seems to be a lack of consistency when it comes to these type of cases. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Way does the T34 as a female Sound FX31 Aug 2013, 03:30 AM I don't understand why people are making such a big deal out of this. As people have posted before, there have been female Soviet tank drivers during WW2. Did they make up half of the tankists? No, but I don't think Relic is implying that either. There were 80 or so Ostwinds produced IRL and yet they are a staple unit in CoH2. What's wrong with half of the T34s having a female voice? I don't get it.
