Wait! What? They are going to introduce an ace for Russians too? What tank?

If that´s really true, this game is beyond any help. Just look at the German aces score and then the Russian "aces" score - that´s just beyond comparison. This game is totally moving to bullshit-land. This isn´t an early war game where a KV locked down an area - this is supposed to represent 1944.

I´m already pissed about the ram ability, more range on SU-85 and mark target which screws up tank combat. But if that´s really going to happen, I doubt I will be playing to the extend I´m doing now. It´s not only small mistakes representing the factions... it seems to move to utter shit which actually has nothing to do with WW2, except some models. Give Germans anti-tank-knives! They never existed but are needed for balance of course.

Most of the time for the Germans I go with: Bronze Infantry, Gold Infantry, and that Grenadier buff.

This way nobody can guess whether I´m going T2 or fast T3 with Germans. I don´t like taking the Panzergrenadier buff. If the opponent sees that, I will face the proper counter to them. Also the early combat usually is the most important and regular Grenadiers are in every build anyways. So I don´t give away any information.

For Russians however I usually go for the Sniper and Penal bulletin. It just fits my playstyle best.


What´s also funny is to fool your opponent. Granted, I don´t do that often, but if you take three Panzer IV bulletins and don´t go for tanks at all, it´s funny to see how your opponent is massing Zis-guns that won´t help him. Actually this is more useful than the three wasted bulletins of yours.

I agree that the medi-kit and scout car vet1 abilities are garbage. In about 500 games I used both abilities about 2 or 3 times each. The medi-kit usually isn´t that great - the ammunition is better spent on an early medi-bunker. A cost decrease for bandages would be appropriate.

Target weakpoint on the other hand is THE BEST vet ability in the game imo. It will turn the tides in almost any tank engagement. It´s the ability that makes vet1 StuGs effective.

Hi, today I logged in to see this. Either I reached level 100 without gaining any bulletin, or they got deleted. Same goes for the Campaign.

Every bulletin dropped to 0%. What can I do to fix this?

I agree with the OP.

I know the game has to be balanced but seeing as how the developers flipped the roles and to some extend TOTALLY left out realism is a bit dull.

1) In reality Germans tried to keep the range to enemy tanks and Russians tried to close in to actually hit something or penetrate the armor of heavier German tanks.

Ingame the Germans have to blitzkrieg their Panthers etc. to actually hit a Su85 which otherwise could just sit there and snipe them. This is jsut ridicolous if you have any clue of history.

2) In reality the Elefant could fire around 6-8 rounds per minute, the ISU-152 could fire 1 round every minute and the IS-2 could fire about 1-2 rounds per minute.

Ingame they all have about the same rate of fire. This isn´t only ridicolous form a histroci point of view but the instant squad wipes those heavy splash weapons of the Russian vehicles do, is also a major balance concern. I´m not talking about realistic reload times, but one shot every 15-20 seconds for those vehicles would be appropriate with some slight buffs elsewhere.

3) Panzerfausts were the biggest fear of Soviet tankers.

Ingame they are a nice gimmick to create an engine damage, nothing more.

5) Schrecks were also the most effective hand held anti tank weapon of the war. Ingame Panzergrens get two of them to shoot one salvo on T-34s and then run away. I´m not dissapointed by their performance, but giving them two Schrecks
