Yeah that is how balancing works. When something is OP, you nerf it and then buff it again so nothing really changes.
That´s how balancing works. It´s called preventing an over-nerf.
So, Russian tanks get all the advantages? Su-85 having more range than StuG, IS-2 and ISU-152 having about 3x and 6x faster reload times than the real deal and they can keep their broken ability (ram), while German tanks get the downsides (less range, soon less speed and don´t even talk about the Elefant that fires as slow as the ISU-152 and moves at the speed of a snail).
This is silly game design already and now it´s getting worse. Where is the asymmetrical balance of one faction having more expensive and better stuff than the other that worked so well in Coh1? I´m not looking forward to dull engagements where Panthers and Russian tanks park in front of each other praying to the RNG god yet again, because the units are almost mirrored.
