This is long

Some things no one was talking about (artillery)

But changes to infantry and tanks seem to be what people wanted, German armour especially now costs more fuel giving an incentive to keep infantry in the late game (or spam cargo trucks)

Soviet armour seems a lot better, and the units that really need hold fire have finally got it

Looking foward to this

Some tank changes are strange, almost all vehicles and tanks lost some HP and damage and increase in armor and penetration.

I dont understand why IS-2 got it's damage reduced since it's reload is still very high.

Why T34-76 got reload increase, it's useless by now, and T34-85 haven't changed.

I really have bad feeling about this new patch

If this shit isn't an April fool joke, okay.
GG, Papaland, you did well in April.

Triple nerf on Gren and Blitz = removed, nerf in P4, Tiger and StuG, already useless LefH NERF.

Why don't you just remove Ostheer and give us West German now? <444>_<444>

The increased armour and penetration as well as main gun damage on the T34-76 still means it's useless?

Rifle-grenade cost increased to better align it with similar grenades, such as the RGD-42 which cost 30 munitions. Although the rifle-grenade has a greater range than the RGD-42, its explosive radius is smaller and less lethal.

Rifle-grenade munition cost from 25 to 30

Weapon Teams

Previously, weapon teams would receive +25% more damage from all sources. This modifier has been replaced with a +25% received accuracy value. Tank fire and grenades will be less effective vs. weapon teams as a result; small arms fire remains relatively unchanged.

--------------

These two changes combined should help reduce the insane performance of rifle grenades vs. Maxims.

-----------
How come Pak43 got hold-fire but Pak 40 and Zis didn't?

each german armour got p;enetration buff, even Pak40, so armor increase on T34/76 doesnt mean much, penetration and damage increase might change the thing but 2 sec reload increase is too much for this tank

This is probably the missing piece of the pie to truely understand the changes

Vehicle Penetration
Vehicle penetration is now based on distance to target. High velocity weapons have a lower drop off than low velocity. High explosive weapons do not drop off over distance.

and

AOE Profiles
Very similar to the changes made to grenade AOE profiles. Long and mid-range AOE no longer has a chance to miss its target, the weapon profile damage has been averaged out to compensate. Slight adjustments to AOE radius or distance values were made on a number of vehicles to better align them with their intended performance.

So not sure what weapon profiles the armor has because evidently that makes a diff.

I agree though adding armor to the T34/76 and it still gets pen by just about everything frontally at their optimal ranges. But maybe better at the longest ranges and against different weapons.

Weaker StuGs for 80 fuel? Fuel increase on the T-34? Now Germans spam assault guns against some T-34? This is pretty much the opposite direction it should be.

Oh and I´m probably not going to build a Panther any longer. I shit on lousy 10% more armor and normal hp only after vet 2. Better to go T3 instead and swarm the enemy with even more easily killable StuGs.

And as if an IS-2 and ISU-152 shooting every 10 seconds wasn´t ridiculous enough, their reload times goes down even further!
