I think I like it, but it's kind of weird. Opponents are almost right next to each other. Could make for some interesting base rushes.

PPSH and guards did come a tiny bit later then when you actually needed them so that's good, but shocks could have probably stayed higher. |

Like someone said above, guards, MT and IL2 bombing run are amazing tools against heavy armour.
They are, but they are also all doctrinal. There is very little soviets have in their non-doctrinal units that can really present any danger to an elephant.
The only thing I can think of would be to damage the engine and bring at guns into range.

That maybe true, but it still fails to fix the underlying problem Nullist has identified. Soviet armor with SI arrives on the field before Ost AT. This means that although soviet tanks may kill less infantry on retreat (which is basically what this punishes) Ost still cannot counter the early armor.
Not sure if this has been discussed, but would it nerf SI enough if T70 was vulnerable to small arms fire, so that a hard counter was not necessary if enough soft counters could be dispatched? Or what about making cheaper Ost mines?
I know that historical accuracy isn't that important in this game, but small arms penetrating a T70 is a little too silly even for this game. |
I don't fully understand the building modifiers, that sounds like giving extra protection, but that can't be right? Surley it's a building nerf?
Sorry if I wasn't clear. The old settings gave you a 50% reduced damage and reduced incoming accuracy buff. Now it's been set to 35%. |

Industry commander: No longer increases building build time.
Repair station: 600hp to 300hp
Tiger Ace: now moved to 8cp, income comes back after 10 min.
Building cover: 50% reduced damage and accuracy to 35%
Vehicle Scatter: 2x while moving in addition to the already existing -0.5 accuracy.
Both factions AT guns: 360 to 320
Mg42: Suppression increase 10%
Soviet sandbags: 120sec build time to 80sec
Maxim Rotation reduction: 220 degree arc per second to 180 degree arc per second.
DShK Heavy Machine Gun: 16 damage to 12

Believe me, if Ost had this even at 25% dmg, 30s duration and tracking, for 100 Munis, the whine from Sov would make this thread seem like a baby's fart compared to a shitstorm hurricane at the Mexico city central sewage plant.
The german equavlant would be something like: For 50 munitions increase damage on a single squad.
Doesn't seem that bad to me. Annoying yes. OP no. If they just had mark target for tanks, I don't see it being used much. Since when does german at have a hard time focusing down a tank. It would just be a waste of munis for them. |
Stephenn is an anomaly in the ranking, as his W/L% is actually substantially lower than others on the ladder.
This is due, to his credit, to his ability to beat higher W/L players consistently EVEN THOUGH he often tries unorthodox builds which sometimes invariably end in defeat.
Nonetheless, and especially because of that, his place on the ladder is particularly deserved.

That's because leader boards are a innacurate representation of skill. While those who top the leader boards are obviously some of the greatest players. Those that stay on the top are usually there because they are absolutely anal about winning. This usually means they employ proven strategies so they can maximize their win/loss ratio and in some cases, means they can be beaten by lower rank player who uses a strategy that's different from the norm. Which means a lower rank player could patentially be better then a higher ranked opponent.
This is generally why I hate leader boards, as well as the "My opinion is better then yours because my rank is higher" bullshit. |
