we will argue about this when conscripts get molotovs free with t1/t2 and AT nades come free off the bat, ill accept merge and orah as a free advantage that cannonade likes to preach about. note that i used the situation of mid and late game since we are on the issue of scaling. vetted and upgraded grens are going to be around and they completely force charging ppsh conscripts to retreat within a few short burst or, ppsh conscripts are going to stand at max range and do nothing to grens while getting chipped away by lmg fire. dp28 guards and grens are barely equal, cost wise and availability wise. also, there's no tipping of scales here like

abit of things that i have opinions that i want to share. 1) rifle nades/panzerfaust is the free equivalent of merge/oorah 2) lmg is the king of infantry weapons. smg conscripts will do nothing to help in the late game against vetted and upgraded grens, but they will murder volks. 3) grenadiers are infact, still superior to guards. guards DO NOT tip the scales into soviet's favour. lmg42 and rifle nades shits on guards hard. problem with grens are by design, they are backbone infantry. however, lmg42 turns them into dps machines rivaling elite infantry. which makes conscripts quite obsolete and proper elite infantry difficulty in countering them in direct combat. its a problem with the availability of lmg in core infantry. rifles and grenadiers especially. they can spam them and form a huge dps blob to melt everything, not to mention individually, lmgs are already very good. okw has the same problem but to a smaller extent because volks can nade and they can get obers to compensate the huge dps dispairity. i almost took you seriously until i gave it a watch, congratulations on the win anyways. go work your way up and face people who truly understands okw. he let you mass up 3 shocks but failed to react with a pzII, also he allowed your su76 and zis to shoot his panther rear armour continuously. he saw a t2 start with shocks but did not react with kubels, he did react with hmg34 though. he went 4x volks for some reason and his sturmpioneer was camping the house for a good part of the game, failing to utilize the dps. also he went 2x falls, too much manpower invested in infantry while not being very efficient with his own. apart from the engagement where he lost the panther, he failed to coordinate proper assaults into your lines. most of it were little skirmishes with his volks/falls against conscripts and shocks. most of which he lost and retreated. mostly, it was just t4 vs a mediocre player. should an experienced one played against you, that sturmpioneer would have long forced ur maxims out while volks draw fire, if that isnt enough, volks will nade the building. opening up more flanking routes into ur mortars. either puma or luchs will be rushed, that will make ur shocks primarily defensive and your mortars useless. he would be able to claim the map quite easily. going t4 then would be a bad idea. you would have gone for a reactionary AT gun while he will continuously bleed you and gain more ground. until you can take his light armour out, you will be hard pressed for manpower to buy any new units. if you read it right, i merely said fuel needed for the 1st t34, my apologies, i didnt take into account the 10 fuel left over. there's no flame war here, i made mistakes in my math but the logic still applies. if you are going to nitpick about the math and try to derail the real problem at hand, please stop. against a sc+sniper strat, the common decision is to rush pumas, ignoring heals because a puma immediately nullifies the advantage soviet has with sniper + sc. it is immune to sniper fire and destroys SC, thats why i used it as a direct comparison. if you want the heals, tech for it after pumas. the minute puma hits the field, it secures your ground and allows you to push up, it takes an additional 120fuel for soviets to bring up a mobile counter. regardless, what i gave was a common scenario faced against puma rush strats, considering the relative performance of pumas + abilities to gtfo, range/pen and sight and the difficulty in countering it, it needs nerfing. you are right, if soviet/us gets 25fuel/min, the okw equivalent is 25 * 0.66 = 16.5. okw will then need 4.24mins to save 70 fuel. the equivalent for soviet fuel rate in 4.24mins = approx 106 fuel. my apologies. still im not ashamed because my point still stands, we are talking about a massive 225 - 105 = 120 fuel difference, care to refute that instead? I see most of time basic math error... IF OKW gets only 66% fuel income(in real life, it is circa 70%, not 66% because BASE HQ NON REDUCED F income), and the Puma F price is 70F, that is not correct numbers, 70F x 1.33 =93.1F. This WRONG. IF you want the right numbers, need see, IF OKW Puma fuel cost 70F, and you get 70%(again, NOT 66!!!) Fuel income, the 1% is your F price that in this case 70F = 70/70 =1, so the 100% = 100F. The OKW puma with 70% Fuel income, exactly 100 F for other 3 race. So PUMA is the SAME FUEL PRICE as a T34, and a bit more MP, so PUMA overall a expensiver unit than the russian med tanks... tell me if that 7 fuel difference, makes a difference to the 235fuel difference a soviet player has to cough out. regardless of minor error, because okw takes 2/3 the fuel, the simple conversion is to multiply the unit costs by 1.33 to simulate the slow rate. its not the most accurate to the perfect demical place, but it should be sufficient to show my point. still my point still stands.
