Which logically in turn means that AI Rangers could be worth only 9 population, but well. Overall they are an okay squad, but bland in their design and gameplay. I mean, don't the triple zooks do the same damage as 2 schrecks while costing more, having less pen and have to hit 3 times rather than 2 times to do the same thing while also dropping less. By the time you have those two and the starting section, you'll be fighting: A) 1 Gren/Assault Gren, 1 MG42, 1/2 Pio B) 1 Sturmpio, 2/3 Volks Both of which can fight the combo with OST being able to launch a faust from mile away or OKW slaughtering your engineers with sturmpioneer. I am not going to argue weather USF as faction is UP or not, Airborne and Pathfinder are dominating the meta and they promoting a certain type of play and that is bad Yes because you just bleed to death against snipers or go for a sub-optimal build with a mortar before 3 rifles and officer against MG42s. Pathfinder fixes both problems. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What's this new strategy for OST?12 Apr 2022, 14:26 PM 2v2, 3v3 depending on map, I like to go: 1- MG 2- MG 3- BP1 at the same time healing bunker 4- x3 PGren It is a meme build for 1v1 that is destined to lose. But in 3v3s -especially with G43 doctrines- it can really hurt unexpecting, infantry spamming allied players. In: COH2 Gameplay

Open your test range and see it for yourself Early on they get clapped hard at every range without G43s. Then after G43, only in the late game (Vet 3+) they can win against Penals in point blank but thats with assuming engagement starts from point blank range. Even in late game with "uLtRa sCaLiNg" Panzerfusiliers, you lose at long range and can barely win short range. In: COH2 Balance
