I'm insinuating that CoH 2 is still CoH 2, so if that gets you revved up and ready to play, then have at it.
As far as 1v1s and 2v2s, those are the gamemodes that are actually a fairly good experience compared t 3v3 and 4v4 (at least from what I've heard), so expect less players that you're used to there.
Yep, agreed.
Have played about 10 2v2s as of now, and wait time for queuing is less than one minute, so it's fine.
I think the blame falls pretty squarely on the management, and that means the people actually calling the day-to-day shots at Relic. I don't think SEGA had much to do with the game's state at all beyond pressure to release it, which certainly didn't help any.
There has been a steady trickle of Glassdoor reviews on Relic, even after the main round of layoffs, and the one consistent thing that people who worked there actually say is that the management is straight-up incompetent. This should be pretty obvious anyways since Company of Heroes 3 is a game which is entirely lacking in vision. You can tell, from the way things fit together, to the way the game is discussed, that there was no guiding principle to its development beyond "make another Company of Heroes". It doesn't matter if there are talented artists or coders or anyone working on the project if the people actually calling the shots have no idea what to do beyond producing a pale imitation of what came before.
coh3 is another example of the decline of the west.
The only reason I come back to CoH 2 is because it's the only CoH with the Attrition gamemode. It's still the same as it's ever been, so if that gets you revved up and ready to play then have at it.
If you are insinuating that COH3 is better, I 100% disagree. It still looks like a mobile game port to PC to me.
That said, I was more likely asking if COH2's 1v1 and 2v2 gamemodes are still alive.
Thankfully nobody's advocating for free callins here.
Eh, really?
Removing the fuel penalty just gives the callins a "sit tight and hold" doctrine, meaning the already cancerous turtling problem will get worse since the player would have no need to continually push into fuel/muni since he can just hold and wait for big boom vehicle.
Idk just my 0.02$ on why I am "against" callins in general as portrayed here.
