Thread: How you play Wehr vs USF? [2019 WCC]20 Oct 2019, 05:25 AM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53z2oDHRNKk I followed tightrope, and this particular cast hits me home straight. The part when tightrope Wehr vs Devm Usf. The same struggles i get playing the same lineup. I can be winning or matching Usf in each engagements but somehow they keep coming back and suddenly a tank, a pershing(etc here) comes out and just over run my hold It is like, why? Im bleeding Usf, perhaps even doing better. But they keep finding the resources to out last tightrope/me? Help! Beside so far seems Allies factions are winning, at least from Tightrope casts.. The IS-2 is doctrinal yes, but that doesn't mean it should be overpowered. If that were the case, the JT/Ele would still 2 shot 640HP meds. Imo that was the biggest detrimental change to Elefant. It went from Herr Elefant to the elephant. It was a very passive change to the unit. I mean you can tweak its defensive stats and its counter, but to also hit its damage makes it a question mark. I went from saving to unlesh Herr Elefant. Now i will think twice to call in. Only if playing double Churchill spamming Ukf, or if game have gone 50% of VP, and we get a small or equal map control, then i call in the elephant to try and defend a side. Else i need to depend on Panther for AT duties, and wont even call in if we are behind. It is just too passive now. So members like Katitof who keep throwing out Elefant as a counter of all, ime its not that case for me in 2v2 now. In: COH2 Balance

Just to humor you: Axis not needing either doctrines or returning to base to get upgrades is one reason not to get extra stuff on their pintle. The shear number of tanks that can get a pintle compared to allies is an another reason. The overlap with spotting scopes, bonus vison on pio,s and halftracks is a third reason. Just for starters. All your points actually support my suggestion or dont counter it. What you mean needing to go back base upgrade the pintle? Only 3 tanks iirc for wehrboo, maybe 4 if you count normal tiger. But the numbers of tanks with pintle does not affect this suggestion, its not like +5 is op or you can field as many as those tanks. Spotting scope just got heavy nerf and i feel this actually help supplement the idea for the 1.5s penalty. Pioneer sight dont overlap unless you push them further the front lines, which you shouldn't. Ht is expensive to use and iirc you need vet... Look, the point is to create a fairer dynamic of sight/armour vs range/pen. Alliea 60td don't cost extra to get the range and pen and sweet vet bonus. Hell firefly just got free tulips buff for some reason.... In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Stug Vet19 Oct 2019, 06:50 AM I think a recent buff to Stug was to upgrade its pintle performance. Imo thats a great FU throw to you Wehr beggers. Like why even bothered the same way as 5Fuel Jackson nerf. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Stug Vet19 Oct 2019, 06:49 AM I dont want Stug at T2, i just want Stug to do better against Allies armor. TWP sucks Pen sucks with no vet. The outdated idea that Stug is to deal with medium allies is flawed. Allies are faster/more accuracy on move. There is no room for Stug at 50 range non-turret, even worse once 60TD hits field. Stug is only useful for back tech to supplement against IS/KV and Churchill. Supplement because Panther are overworked against heavy Allies armor. Supplement because you expect 50/50 chance you will throw the stug to get enough hit for Panther to hopefully move in, stop-stop to kill. As such i think Stug is too expensive and/or cost inefficient In: COH2 Balance

I guess this could equalise the range of 60TD and/or 0.75 moving accuracy advantages and/or faster vehicles of Allies. +5 sight seems to tie better with Axis supposedly higher armor class, at least until 60TD dominates the field. You can shoot but you cant see, you can see but you cant shoot. A nice dynamics worth considering. Right now you spend on pintle and gets the worse returns for such upgrade imo. I think pintle is another legacy forgotten after time. It was interesting back launch, but seem fallen back now. In: COH2 Balance

It makes a good dynamic of Axis tank sight vs Allies tank range. Perhaps this is key to balance out Wehr penetration vs Sov/Ukf armor? In: COH2 Balance
