Yes vipper wrote down in a better expression than i did.
The objective of this thread is to highlight wehr does not have enough penetrations now. Landscape has changed for what was taken for granted
Panther vet buff
Pak40 sight buff
P4 pen buff
Stug twp replacement
These ideas are thrown out for considering. |
Yes it is, for a tank that has "high" armor hp and used to dive in and out.
You could be chasing a T70 and if you want to switch target because T70 outran you.
Little things add up but forgotton. |
And SU-85 is an extremely cost efficient unit having one of the best guns in game. Try to compare it with JP4 and you will see another picture.
On top of that FF gets:
Commander for extra vision+accuracy
One of longest MID ranges having less drop off in penetration and accuracy
Access to "warspeed" and Hammer tracking
A turret
A coaxial
Less tech cost
Superior damage (even more via veterancy)
Tullips, there is very little reason for one not to get Tullips, since there no disadvantage in taking the upgrade.
Yes
voice of reason.
Any rof buff, you have to drop damages down to 160.
Also Axis dont have crew repairs. So you cant hide away for quick on spot repairs. 200 HP hurts more. |
Their penetration is fine, no idea what you're talking about
It is not fine because they get outranged and outburned.
Where is the superior axis armor?
Heck Panther turret rotation quality is worse than Churchill until it gets vet3.
|
Yes it is fair and balance because rng is rng.
There was the map with ice and you can lose it if you stayed too long.
I also rather blizzard make some kind of comeback.
Then there is rain in coh1 but not in coh2.
More rng variables the better.
The top players have like what 75-90% win rates, i say rng critical is not 'critical'.
skills + luck > skill. always. in real life too. |
Compare to Allies 60TD
FF: 260/240/210/Tulips/240 damages/0.55 moving accuracy
SU85: 240/230/220, vet to 312/299/286 with free self-spottting
Jackson: 260/240/220, vet to 338/312/286 and the best AP ammo 300/280/250 and vet 390/364/325. 0.75 moving accuracy!
They goes up against Brumar, Panther and Tiger..
Brumbar front/side armor 240, vet 288
Panther front/side armor 260, vet 286
Tiger front/side armor: 300
Hmmm |
Is it me but look at Panther and Pak40
Panther: 260/240/220. And thats it, no vet no special ammo
Pak40: 210/200/190, at Vet3: 273/260/247. AP ammo i give you that, it pens all Allies tanks BUT take too long loading and can fire 1 shot for 160 damage only.
Say we take their mid values of 240 and 200/260. This is fair average encounter.
They are up against Allies front/side values
Churchill Croc/AVRE : 290
Churchill : 240
Comet: 290
Pershing: 270
IS2: 375
ISU152: 340
KV1: 270
KV2: 300
KV8: 260

Yes sov cons can just out blob the Wehr boo early on. That is the current flavor now. So does usf rifles |
We have been going in rounds, i think basic issue is when allies got their 60TD buff that we see complains of heavy high hp allies armor, start to pile up.
So we have tanks that can sit further up to disrupt and another to snipe.
Yes there is also unfairness feelings why the rear armor flank is rewarding nerf hasnt been applied to kv and is and Churchill. |
Yes as some said above, allies are stronger blobbers. Allies vs Wehr, win early blob wars and transition faster to their better LT and Medtanks. G43 is too expensive to help Wehr equalise blobbing on the move. So if you play allies, you can counter Wehr blobbers much easier. Okw is bit more equal and harder but usf is now more stronger than okw from early game
To me, i believe all mg should be improved, have a better RA against infantry weapon when setup. Especially Wehr is up against 5-7 men units dps.
For Wehr,mg42 is weakest mid-late game against allies blob and need a vet buff.
