Thread: Time to reduce 60TD to 55TD?18 Nov 2019, 05:27 AM I also think Ukf is under estimated but it suffer from Wehr design, a bit too slow early game for the explosive impact, so you need at least a teammate and shared resources. But late games they are strong with churhills and 5 man IS/RE and 60TD. The last 2v2 WC was led by Ukf victories. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Time to reduce 60TD to 55TD?18 Nov 2019, 05:05 AM Small change worth a try. At least a 55TD will fear AT Guns now, instead of happily being more passive and wait for opportunity. The thing is 60TD have superb vet bonus to zone out tanks. The 60 range is simply not needed on top of every positive stats they have, including cost effectiveness.. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Heavy Tank CP18 Nov 2019, 04:56 AM Imo we see Axis or OKW, since Wehr is unused, in WC19, 'stalling' for Tiger. It is only unit to provide decent AT and good AI. It is probably cheaper to go Tiger instead of P4 and P5. Undoubtably more so for Wehr teching. Luch - Puma - Tiger and maybe back tech to P4. This hightlighs Axis problem. Panther too cost ineffective as a tank destoryer and needs more micro. P4 ineffective as AI as compared to Sherman and T34/76. And less useful than T34/85. And it lacks pen. JP4 simply lacks pen. So we left with Tiger call in. I mean, Allies have more cost effective units by design. But over time, their performance have been patched to the point, that is not lacking and compensate for this effecitive costs. It is simply bad for Axis, quietly but surely. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Time to reduce 60TD to 55TD?18 Nov 2019, 04:49 AM Right now 60TD have 640HP, meaning 4 good hits. When you add in pen and damage and rof bonus and even speedy retreats. It just makes no sense to get 10 extra range when other factors are in play. The Tiger is no better than IS2 and Pershing now. Axis do not have arty ability to destroy Allies heavies. I feel this is enough. Too much suffering for Axis players. The WC2019 was dominated by Allies win rates. And while 60TD did not determine as much, it helps to supplement Allies strong infantry med plays. 60TD makes 2v2 unplayable and boringly zone out our late games. In: COH2 Balance

They are vastly superior to anything cheaper and about as good or better than anything more expensive. Only once vet3 with the ROF bonus, and only the ROF, which Pershing is pretty close. But Persing is way more effective because of speed, speed, speed. In the WC2019, killing IS2 is near impossible with the armor bonuce and faster retreating speeds and then click self repairs. I havent seen a IS2 kill in final rounds. Yes Tiger dies and dies. Tiger while most commmonly used, is more of a force of hand. A unit with decent AT and good AI aoe. Something AI like shermans can provide for cheaper and USF used to good effect. Panthers have gone missing in top tier games. Brumbar no more too. If this is not indication for Relic to look into T4... In: COH2 Balance

I don't have a full list, so they might have lost one in the lower brackets, but they won 4 out 4 games they were picked in the final, and the fifth was USF rear echelon spam. I don't think there was a single axis win in either the final or 3rd place decider. I been saying the same things. Soviet has been the best faction for many years. Quietly unnoticed but is true. That's certainly not the description of Tiger. And Panther still beats the crap out of pershing. Panther is also not limited to 1. And yes, pershing is squishy compared to -insert 230 fuel vehicle here-. So if we give Pershing another 80hp stock, 5 range on vet, but cut its speed, turret, static and moving accuracy, make it big target size,draw a bigger 3d model, and make it cost more popcap We won't call it premium med but a heavy? The sole fact that tiger is being used in almost every singular game is a testament to its usefulness. However, bad artisan will always blame the tools. Apples vs oranges. The two are incomparable in any way. I think tiger is 'fine' fine. But it is punching below its class due to a critical stats/scaling limitation. In: COH2 Balance
