There is no reason going for Obers early because it is just a waste of MP since you will bleed a lot. MG34 should be available at the same time when Obers arrive. Not locked behind "Vehicle Authorisation". Makes no sense, MG34 is not a tank lol. It needs to be adjusted properly that it arrives in the appropriate time. Make the MG34 upgrade come earlier or not locked behind tech since it is simply ridiculous. IRSTG44 should be stock and not doctrinal. It is a waste of doctrine ability. In: COH2 Balance

They are not very expensive for their new performance I do not agree They are too strong to be in the game as they are. I think they are one of the best infantry units, but that is fine if their cost and vet speed appropriately reflects that. Observations: Personally I build like 3 in my first game this patch and got them all vet 5. How many other factions build say 3 shock troops, rangers, commandos, ect in the first 12 minutes? Let's fix this first. Suggestions 1. Increase vet requirements 2. Increase manpower cost 3. Possibly increase FG42 Munitions cost, but its a munitions heavy doctrine so its not easy to get the 60 anyways when you want planes smoke, Valiant assault ect. Pretty much fair suggestions. Falls are only good when they are Vet. So nerfing that would be a balanced change imo. MP to 340 would be good since they are 4 man. 380 is straight dumb ridiculous. Muni increase kinda. As long as it is around 80 and not 90. In: COH2 Balance

They are still quite vunerable to vehicles I think just like every other elite infantry. (Didn't they used to have a faust?) Realistically they shouldn't be able to blob elite infantry around without some kind of detriment. So how about cost increase to 340 or nerf timing of the second FG42s to 80 muni? (Also we should think about nerfing both Valient Assault and Mother Russia) Price increase agreed since it is an elite unit. 340 should be minimum for strong doctrinal units. Timing I disagree since they dont come with 4 FG42s and they get easily defeated by 2CP Shock Troops (even if Falls had 4 FG42, they still would be defeated by Shocks). Falls should still be 2CP. Increasing muni price is a no no since they already have to wait and tech which is already a big long downside. OKW muni costs upgrades are always generally too expensive. I never get a chance really in getting upgrades for Volks except mid or late game. It is fine as it is the munitions price imo. In: COH2 Balance

SU has a doctrine also but with Shocks combined with their own version with Valiant assault (called I think "Mother Russia") and has always been there. Very toxic and has been there longer, in addition its is far more efficient in contrast. There is no counter when your MG are just straight useless as well as infantry. Just a straight quick assault (not going to say the term) against Wehr and even OKW when you use Shocks combined. Oh wait, even works with an AT blob, so great, so balanced, just wow! Not just infantry but efficiently even used against vehicles which OKW does not even offer if you compare the differences. Nobody even complains about Allies unbalance. So funny. It is the Doctrine with the B4. That is also unbalanced. In: COH2 Balance

In live there are counters to emplacements but they not specialized counters, the point is that emplacement should be tough to kill with normal units but easy with specialized units. One's opponent has invested in emplacements then one can invest is specialized units. That is true. There is no specialised or a direct counter. The only way to counter just 1 Bofors is to combine at least 3 units, mortar, AT and something else to do the job efficiently. Takes a lot of effort with around 800 manpower to efficiently counter Bofors that costs only 300mp with only around 30 fuel. Bofors is very cost efficient since there is no specialized unit in order to counter it properly. Takes several units to counter it otherwise it is not possible. Comparing a FHT that costs also 300 mp but 55 fuel. There is only 1 counter needed which is a light or simply an AT gun and boom, easy direct counter. That is why FHT is so useless. It is the vet that should be nerfed. That is when it actually is strong, without Vet it is vulnerable as hell. Vet is the only thing that needs nerfing since that is what makes it drastically stronger! Its current performance from what I have seen is fine. It is not like it can challenge every single Allied unit, it simply does not do that. There are already vids that show Falls are not as OP as many claim it to be. In: COH2 Balance
