If anyone has one that's better than that, let me know because that formula did not give the correct DPS values that were on the chart, but I think it's still indicative of which number is higher. So here's the higher numbers: 0.14904 - DShK 0.1485 - M2 Browning 0.0875 - MG 34 0.0864 - MG 42 0.064056 - Vickers 0.0468 - Maxim While I applaud your efforts, another major factor is going to be burst duration, which doesn't look to be a factor here. ROF is only half the story, as none of the MGs fire continuously (though the maxim can come close in that one regard) In: COH2 Balance

If the SU-76 needs a buff it could just be in the form of a cost reduction to its fuel price making it even more affordable as a supplementary AT platform to back up a T-34 or T-70 when you can’t afford or don’t want an SU-85 and also more affordable as an emergency AT solution if you skipped Tier 2. It's not. ZIS-3 barrage is 30 seconds, SU-76 is 80 seconds. The SU-76 should get 140 base damage for its gun and retain the +20 from vet. Alternatively lose the damage vet and give it 160 damage at start. And the cooldown on the barrage should be changed to 45. No price adjustments necessary as unit is overpriced as it is. At least i assume it's bug, idk why they would purposefully make it different I specifically asked about it in the September patch thread and was told it was 'not a high priority', so I have to assume it is part of some sort of convoluted balance equation rather than an 'oopsie'. But who can say, I suppose. Obviously the balance team is aware of the discrepancy; I just wish there was a clear answer on it's place in the game. I also have to wonder if the retreat RA does not carry over into USF-recrewed MGs of other factions in the same way that crew size does for say, Soviets. That would be unfortunate, but at least it would then be consistent for the faction? I guess? In: COH2 Balance

Quite annoying when there is always a huge delay on the retreat when the unit focuses a long 2-3 seconds to pick it up after a guy who lifted it. Same thing with Raketenwerfer, it has that very same deathloop also which bugged me a lot among other annoying features. It is apparently impossible to fix on account of requiring new animation sets, something the dev team cannot create. (along with not being able to make new models, etc) And the raketenwerfer is subject to the same loop as any other AT gun (though less so for it's retreat RA) In: COH2 Balance

I ca actually kill models with first shot while the one from zis can not. This doesn't really justify the massive recharge time for most of the SU-76's existence. The cost of the ability could also be increased via vet at that point, or the recharge, or the barrage ability replaced by a unique ability with the damage adjusted to compensate. A vet 0 or vet 1 SU-76 definitely shouldn't be having to wait over a minute to fire again (for 35 munitions) This also goes to point out how dumb the damage veterancy is. This is damage that honestly should be in the main gun at start, especially if this is going to cause so many problems for its other core abilities. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: su76 need adjustments16 Sep 2019, 20:50 PM Set the barrage recharge time for the SU-76 to the same as the ZIS-3. 30 seconds. There's no reason the barrage recharge should be 80 seconds long when you have to pay 35 munitions for the barrage, and unlike with the ZIS-3 you don't even really get very capable AT capability out of the deal. At the very most, make it a 45 second recharge. 80 is pretty insane, but that's what it is in live. In: COH2 Balance
