The game is deeply rooted in decision making plays and strategic advantage, to compare AoE is more like an APM simmetryc RTS and starcraft like an APM assinetryc RTS.
Therefore if you can choose any of both, parks or pndr you should always take account what you need and what their vet1 are worth for you. To axis it might seem appealing to steal a pndr since they cant recruit them normally, as to an UKF player that will find attractive to steal a Pak. Statswise they both are as similar as they can, given the fact that CoH2 is assinetryc by definition.
Even OST and UKF are pretty similar overall, with fewer differences than any other two opposite factions. I think there is no. Real value of showing any imbalance between the pak and pndr, mainly because ATG are not being a big issue in the current metagame
Problem with the Pak howi is it can utterly drain MP and cause a lot of pain from a safe distance.
But then the moment it gets hit by stuka it is instawiped and is a trash unit and invalid.
Maybe make it and the isg more mobile, but remove auto attack. Decrease barrage response time

On one side pak howie's are MP drain to the enemy and only WStukas can turn it upside down to a MP drain to USF.
I would add just to not use pak howie's vs OKW but I would argue myself for it.
6 man pak howie is just a copycat of SU but adding mobility to pak howie's could be nice and also a slippery slope into OPness. In this case in particular, the wstuka has to be changed IMO.

I have saved games, that I only save because of this reason alone. To show people how AWFUL the game was designed. A game that comes to mind, one game this comet tank didn't move. Just sat there shooting at other German tanks, this Comet tank missed ALL six shots before being killed, SIX times! SIX! One, miss. Two miss. Three miss. Four miss. Five miss. Six miss.!!! Then blew up by two PANZER 4's. Yes PAZER 4's!!!

If both were exactly the same, you will be playing Age of Heroes, not CoH2 itself. Game balance demands asymmetry, there is no point in the comparison and it is biased too. Vet3 is pen upgrade and OP shows it as "a cool bullet effect"
OP you tell us why you want to choose between ATGs when most of the time the issue is to have/to not have any ATG when mediums start to roam

If OP wants a quick answer then fine start a thread but if you or anyone is going to engage so hard in a discussion and after that spit BS and wrong assumptions, please fo all us a favour and go search and READ in the first place.
Also note, this was the worst off topic fuckfest I had to bare. The game has relations of balance but broader analysis require sober arguments.
My opinion will be unpopular but i would really like to remove LeiG from defensive doctrine. It does not add originality to the whole axis factions design IMO.
I would swap it with any other OKW commander ability/unit, to me it just doesnt fit to pair good defense with good indirect fire. Sure they both sinergyse but also thats the problem, too much bang for the buck.
Well seeing as they are in a "safe zone", they probably won't get hit by anything other than indirect fire, so yes, the fact that single shots can decrew it does matter, especially with stukas, pwerfers, and lefhs being a thing. It matters just as much to its survivability as any other indirect fire piece and it matters because it'll lose vet and you'll have to recrew it with more expensive to reinforce infantry. So yeah.
I get your point but i wouldnt switch 'matters' with 'annoys'. Unless wstuka can fire again in less than 10 seconds you can get the pak howie back to safety if it is a priority, if it is not then leave it and the whole pak howie discussion becomes worthless. Plus points if you can use some smoke to get it back to safety if needed.
