Without the armor it would only be fit for tier 0. The damage this vehicle does is fairly weak. I would rather sacrifice bazookas than sideskirts.
A T0 M20 sounds appealing to me, but sadly some other unit must be displaced, i think its fair to displace or remove T0 mortars if M20 takes its place |
OP, your point is hard to validate. Yet still i can try to give you my best idea. Two pshreck on sturmpios is just too much, on the axis side is just too expensive and not that reliable, on the allied side is kind of OP or at least not balanced compared to other standard handheld AT. It does though resemble AT Rear echelons but stumpio with 2x shreks is much more dangerous, lets be clear about that.
If the upgrade were to include 2 shreks, it should diminish other unit aspect very distinctively. For example, make 2xshrecks cost 100 muni but also remove stgs for mp40s or kars. Or give 4xPzbuches to give penal like AT capabilities (wich are by no means OP compared to shreks)
I would like to see the sweeper and repair+shrek upgrade to be independient but stackable and the put out sweeper also puts out the shrek. This way sturmpios get more value and also become riskier to use since they are already expensive and not cost efficient. I would even like to bundle shrek+sweeper for 70 muni and call it a day.
If you can put out both of them you got what you wanted (cheaper shrek) and people wanting only sweeper now have to pay also for shreks (wich is not what they wanted)
A fair tradeoff nerf/buff ratio. |
I like the irony of your argument, because walking stuka literally had had its hp cut in half and that was it in regards to addressing its overpowering barrage.
Have you watched recent 2v2 tournament?
It was full of walking stukas, regardless of who played the faction.
There was also sever lack of PACK howis, boi do I wonder why if the unit is so OP and competitive players abuse just about anything and everything to get even slightest edge.
Arent you a bit redundant here saying "wstukas are OP against Pak howies" and then you point out how many wstukas vs how few pak howies there were in the tournament. Why would it be otherwise?
Lets add a rule that wstukas are forbidden and lets do the experiment again, to see really how many pak howies will be fielded |
+1 to aerafield Idea.
can side skirts be standard, but the player is able to "upgrade" them to remove them? (for free ofc) This will give m20s some speed boost maybe?
My point is to let the player choose a better armored or a better mobile m20.

hmm? the soviets tech by building not by battlephase... id rather put it as a T1/T2 upgrade for say 55 fuel... link T3 to that upgrade then reduce T3 to 30 fuel... that ways u can't rush a T-70 but at the same time the 7th man comes out at the same time as the gren
We are talking of SU, of course teching is achieved when buildings are finished and I meant about that.
A 55 fu upgrade in t2 is not the same as a 20 fu upgrade locked until t3 is built. People will complaint it's too expensive or it comes too early the way you put it.

120mm mortars are expensive for two reasons, first: they are stationary MP drain tools, that also have high damage and AoE, when they hit, they hit hard and to use them there is no input or cost involved (as all mortars do), they are complementary tools rather spearheads, making them safe to use that takes us into reason 2: if you only depend on time to get a good hit, getting 2 mortars halves the required time/luck. Their range can be combined for what is called concentration of fire, ending in devastating results to the target zone. Their spammability is dangerous.
Because of their naturethay are expensive. I do agree though their RNG nature is underwhelming and I always wondered if there is a solution to this.
If 120mm got its vet1 changed for an accurate single shell that costed muni and had some windup time, that will fix it's late game situation and become very potent. What do you guys think? |
As you said OP, leig performs well versus static positions, not so well (compared to mortars) against infantry, because of its reduced AoE and acc. It's a tool designed to counter simcity of UKF mainly. |
What if instead of the allied squad quoting the grenade, the allied player hears the German quote of the riflenade being fired. It could be more consistent.
riflenades can be nerfed in damage but increased its proyectile speed, to end the frustration of being hit and getting full squads to low health in a second |
Imo comet is lackluster until its paired with a FF. They complement each other for AT |
Can you maybe try to READ what someone posts before answering?
Oh but I did. OP wanted to know why would you not choose a pak over a pndr.
Then he posted some stats and started a comparison. He was kind asking. |
