Or maybe I just don't care about your opinion anymore? Your posts are mostly filled with trolling anyway bud, not much else
I'm sorry you don't like my opinion on the ostwind. Didn't think such a tiny nerf could make somebody wine so much
Yeah, the problem is that you are mixing opinions and facts, ones are to understand a point of view, the other is to purpose changes and solutions.
There is nothing good about going personal, yet you keep going for personal accusations when i debunk your points.

Yup. But as I have been saying for the last several pages i think the Ostwind is slightly better overall because of mobility. And going back to Shadows point about AOE, ill take ostwind over centaur currently
So saying nerf the Ostwind doesn't mean make it worse than the centaur, if i already think Ostwind is sightly better....
You clearly disagree, i don't get what you're struggling to understand tho
No one can prove anything
...
Ostwind is better in my opinion, that's all. You can disagree, but you're opinion is just as much a "feeling" as anyone elses
The subtle difference is that i never use subjective expressions like "better" or "worse" without a clear context, i only highlight facts and let people make their conclusions.
Yours on the other side are just opinions, hoping that someone will imitate you because their 'feelings' are the same
I told you cant prove ostwinds being better because of their speed and you clearly gave up trying. Please do not troll anymore in the threads. I invite you to politely disagree but also to give up on making balance judging.
If ostwinds got a speed nerf in exange for an armor buff, they will perform even better as they are now, with better armor Ostwinds could face T70s or stuarts.

I always knew there were some people who enjoyed rak cheese. Just never realized there was as many as there are
Maybe you are finding the wrong answers in the right place?
Nobody who really enjoys playing CoH2 likes to cheese, even those who used raketen cheese (or any other cheese for what matters) do it because they need to clutch their strategy, its a shortcut without penalties.
IMO raketen got overnerfed, AND THATS FINE, It doesnt need 5 man and it needs the retreat ability since it was the least performant of all ATGs, it was a squishy ATG, a Pshrek team weapon. If the nerf proves to be too harsh then the next patch will get balanced.
I hate people demanding balance in a single patch, because thats illogical, the game is so complex that some behaviors cant be predicted. |
Then you disagree and that's fine, just say that instead of whining about what people have said about p4 and cromwell
I would just reduce its damage output a little, not by much. I'm with Shadow, it's not crazy OP but the buffs just went a tad too far
He (stug life) is not only disagreeing with you, he is proving your 'feelings' are missguided and your arguments false.
I wouldnt pull that thread any longer because you cant prove Ostwind speed is what makes it OP anymore.
If Ostwind is not crazy OP then there is no need to overnerf it. It already got a cost increase.
*LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS* |
Nobody was disputing that. The point is ill take speed that can help against all units, over armor that gives me less than a 1/3 chance of deflecting a medium and nothing against AT guns, stug, etc
Your point can be proved wrong if you consider the proper scenario.
If you can choose to fight or not, then its better to have speed, it gives you the power to choose.
If you cant choose to fight you just want to withstand the damage of it, to have time to find any support unit available or to have time for ability to let you escape.
No one is better if you only want to land a diving stuka bomb... |
Hey guys,
Hoping to discuss the new and improved ostwind since the last patch.
...
The stuart is a good AT platform so I build one to match up against the ostwind.
...
I know RNG is a factor and this is a sample size of 1 but
...
is the ostwind over-performing vs armor/AT platforms.
Yours truly,
Your favorite USF main
I sincerely cant ignore the fact that Ostwind has been asked for a buff for quite a while and people now have the nerve to complaint of it, as soon as it starts to become nuisance in their every day matches.
Lets start with a clear setup: Stuart is not a good AT platform if you read any other thread. A sample size of 1 is awful bad and to make things worse there is nothing stopping you from doing the same experiment at lest 5 times if you want to use the RNG card.
I would really care of the ostwind balance if the situation were something like: Swarms of Ostwinds razing every single unit in their way, from infantry to medium tanks... That would be scary to say the least.
Damn, if ostwinds could roflstomp anything other than infantry and some missfortuned ATG... |
Can the devs change the IRHT to make it give true vision but in a narrower arc? Make it sweep like the IR beam and let the player 'remember' when it spotted something.
If the vision arc is narrow enough it wont be of use for tank spotting and thats my point |
With regards the falls situation, what if they just come with the 4xFg42 as the previous patch but now they can be upgraded with 2 'scoped' FG42 to increase their dps.
I think falls have a unique but wonky design, they are more like ambush commandos compared to other variants and thats why they are so fragile. |
The only real thing that bothers me about IRHT is the fact that it can be aiming straight at a wall or a forest and yet it still can detect enemy units (i know, to implement a more realistic IR recon is too complicated) and that makes IRHT very cheesy.
I dont agree of it being OP, because its a dedicated unit for recon-only pruposes, even T70 can toggle out of its recon mode to become a nightmare on tracks.
Teamgames often exploit units synergy to the extreme, a single ambulance can resupply and heal all its allied squads, OST CPz4 or even scoped 222s can push out the limits of 1v1 balance. I suggest to take 4v4s balance with a grain of salt because its too damn hard and its more important the match enjoyment overall rather than a single unit contributing too much its team.
If you want a sensible fix, make IRHT require a clear line of sight to be able to recon units, its not a radar. IIRC IRHT also warned the player on the minimap with red spots. I would suggest to remove that feature, to force the player to actively watch along the sweep of the IR |
No flare should give vision as easily as they do now. OKW is just the only one not bounded to any unit per se.
I dont agree with OP at all only because his complaints are framed as an allied player that wants axis toys. Also, this must be the nineth time he posts the same issue with OKW flares exclusively, the rest are just fine to him. |
