Consider if we goes double OKW and we meet high - skilled Allies sniper play then we are truly fucked. It's painful for me to use Ostheer with their 4 man squads can getting rekt so fast against AoE weapon because they only have 4 man... Jaegers are a good OKW counter to snipers, and with overwatch you also get lefh for the late game In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Axis factions get worse with every patch18 Apr 2020, 18:30 PM I must have missed the memo because the tourny is far from the Allied walkfest some fanbois said it would be without tiger. PFC played standard 4 volks, MG and mech truck and had two thirds of the map against apparently unbeatable 5 tommy early/mid game UKF, vonivan kicking butt with Ostheer and pgrens. Assgrens getting use, ostruppen getting use, 5man grens getting use. Wehr snipers racking up 40kills... It's almost as if Tiger was not their only good doctrin choice. Unlike last tournement faction selection is pretty evenly spread between ALL factions, which is a great sign that balance has worked. Can't wait for sunday In: COH2 Balance

It gets crazy vet bonuses in mobility and target size. And for some strange reason it remain a call in with no tech requirement. Its vet bonuses don't help its lethality though like T70 or luch. It's got decent starting stats but doesn't pick off squads as fast as other light tanks at vet. It's s much unit for recon, arty and some extra AI power before it gets invalidated by P4 a minute later. IMO unit is fine, but its supercharge ability could use a bit of a buff considering you need a sexton to use it In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Vickers suppresssion speed?18 Apr 2020, 14:36 PM It has weaker suppression compared to other MGs, this is fine early game vs volks but late game you will find its lasered down from 35 range by obers, jagers etc So the key is spotting for it so you can get that max range suppression before enemy squads can kill the gunner. Once you get vet try to combine it with trenches or buildings and it can somewhat self spot if placed right In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tier list 1vs1 18 Apr 2020, 11:43 AM Soviets and OKW as in the last tournament. Both have not received major nerfs. So I imagine they will dominate again. Light tanks early game and borderline broken late game. Penals and T70, lategame you can easily field 5 or more tanks. Compare KV-1 or SU85 popcap to Churchill's or FF respectively. OKW have solid early game with light tank AND an AT vehicle in the same tier. Then obers that crush all after vet2, 60range TD, rocket arty etc. USF and Brits still reliant on gimmicks IMO, some roster holes. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: ISU152 vs Elefant - harder to kill an ISU15217 Apr 2020, 16:46 PM It is dependant on context of the factions available brits and USF have the hardest time killing an elefant, yet Soviets can counter one even non-doc very easy with katy to wipe support and single penal to force one off. Ost and OKW both have tools with rocket arty and panther, it is just expensive. But in teamgames this is not an issue. In: COH2 Balance

I think they are actually in the game, but not openly. "stormtrooper" and such could be associated to elit troops like waffen. And i presume that yes, this is voluntary to avoid any kind of problems legaly speaking and moraly. Are all videogames classed as "cultural products"? Thread: Waffen SS in CoH3?15 Apr 2020, 14:00 PM I am curious how everybody would react if relic decided to add them in some form. We currently have a NKVD themed commander and single player storyline. As well as Fallschirmjäger that were also guilty of war crimes. Yet the Waffen SS were not included. Is there a line somewhere that relic decided not to cross? But as I'm sure many well versed in WW2 history would agree they have already crossed any moral line with the inclusion of the two previous groups. There is also the issue of swastikas and parts of the german army being illegal to represent in film or games in certain countries like France or Germany. I believe even the iron cross is illegal to market in France. Who knows what they will throw into the mix with army or commander designs with their next title. But I would not be surprised if the single player looked to stir controversy in the same way the CoH2 storyline did in places like Russia. Bad press is still press at the end of the day...
