I really don't understand why you have to tech lmg and PIAT, then pay extra for a doctrinal HT that's main design is to drop lmgs and piats... Current HT is just not worth picking a doctrine for. AT Tommies could use camo or something like AT cons get, or elite PIAT that removes snare. Then they would be on level with ATpfuss. Again we already have Royal engies and PIAT that do the same thing as AT Tommies. It's just supplying stuff Brits already have when Brits as a faction are incredibly reliant on commandos/Land mattress/flamers/mortar from doctrines. So you're giving up those for a different flavor of stuff you already have nondoc. Basically the entire doctrine bar croc needs adjustment or bug fixes. The balance team need to think what is the HT and AT Tommies actually for? Skipping Bren tech or providing heavier firepower than nondoc PIAT and Bren can't provide? Because right now they do neither. They're just more expensive options of stuff you already have. In: COH2 Balance

Not really and for 225/90 units it probably UP. Doctrinal bolstered Ro.E with 210/60 cost are better and come with snare. Assault engineers wipe the floor with pioneers and are available from CP 0. This is where your bias is obvious Snare is not a perk when your mainline infantry completely lacks AT grenades. One or two snare squads max vs 4 snare squads for any other faction. Flamers DO vet faster than UKF RE in an average match, this is plain to see in any 1vs1 cast. PIATS even if unlocked don't come until late midgame at earliest when flamer pios are already vet2 You also ignore the fact Pios and CE are fielded earlier than UKF RE. Funny how you list all the great benefits allies have but you conveniently forget to mention any faults or things they lack In: COH2 Balance

They have more XP values than CE and RE and the same RO that can get 5 men and 2 weapon including AT weapons. That is simply incorrect. They reinforce with 23 when CE reinforce with 21 an and conscripts with 18. When T4 is built they can not kill anything thus they can not vet up. Actually you're wrong, flamers will vet up a unit much faster than mid game PIAT or brens on Royal engies can. You are going off the incorrect basis AT XP values were never nerfed. It used to be AT inf vet up faster but now flamers are king. Doctrinal 5man flame pios with T4 buffs are arguably the best all round engie in the game In: COH2 Balance

Armor allows you to counter Bofors where a luch can't. It fits in well with mech truck builds when you already have a puma and luch, I've seen some pros use this in a few games. Seen a lot of firesturm especially to punish UKF that have to build green cover everywhere, hetzer fits here well. In: COH2 Balance

The main difference is the Combo with ram which makes it easier to use for SU than OST. This is true bit Ost also have target weak point People also have to remember the doctrine already got hit with nerfs to SVTs, we don't want another mobile assault overnerf situation In: COH2 Balance

I think it should just arrive sooner on the battlefield. Current requirements mean it comes too late, and since mobile AT is likely required to support it at this stage, bringing its own costs, it usually would make more sense to go for the generalist PzIVJ. As for MP-40 volks, I think making them a separate unit might be a good idea, with some veterancy allowing them to use their grenades more rapidly. People underestimate how amazing the hetzer is with a bit of Vet. Just use it in combo with other units and it destroys In: COH2 Balance
