Thread: No use for Panzergrenadiers2 Jun 2020, 09:47 AM Don't underestimate the power of an elite infantry unit that requires no muni to trade with 120muni bar rifles or Tommies cqb. As such pgrens are a very useful way to save muni for a few tellers while retaining great AI early game. Spare muni like grenspam doesn't afford. Remember mines win games. If you want to see how pro players use pgrens with commentary I suggest you look up a YouTube caster called imperialdane. He casts a lot of ostheer games and pgrens because they are two of his favorite parts of the game. In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: SU-76 - A Slight Adjustment2 Jun 2020, 01:37 AM I feel like you're missing the historical role of the unit mirage It's a light tank with a field gun bolted on top, it shouldn't be a mobile go-cart zooming around. Obviously the game is not a sim but it still takes historical roles into account (eg commandos) Any changes should be balanced around the main gun and price (8pop is already crazy low, you can build two for every firefly) In: COH2 Balance

So why exactly should ost not be brought into line? As said they already have Inc rounds/teller/regular fausts to deal with a wasp or m3 before 222 hits. The four man argument just doesn't hold water when grens are arguably better early game than pfuss. Thread: Inconsistency vehicle snares29 May 2020, 08:45 AM One would argue a regular range snare from minute 0 is enough to deal with m3 or UC until 222 comes out, T70 is a problem unit but Stuart can be easily kept at bay with regular range fausts. (And insta kill tellers) The heavy meta tourny with pfuss starts into luch were proof of this. And pfuss are worse than volks at early timing, okw also didn't have teller... Oh and I remembered Inc rounds that can delete LVs for MG42, really there's no reason for extra Faust range IMO. Standardization with basic game mechanics like snares can only be a good thing. I agree with a nerf to riflemen vet AT nades too before anyone accuses me of bias. In: COH2 Balance
