Do they get buffs? Nope. And a 10 MP increase to Volks minus 50 MP starting for OKW I doubt is going to make a huge difference. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Difficulties with MG42 spam.14 Aug 2019, 03:37 AM The best way is to go Mechanized and use the WC51 with a Rifle sqaud inside and drive right past them to flank. Or if they're in buildings use the Mortar. If they are still spamming MGs going into the later game an M3 halftrack with Cavalry Riflemen works very well. In: US Forces Strategies

The armour isn't the onky improvement though as it also increases HP. substantial durability increase with them combined which, for the price of the unit can certainly be formidable for harassment. It gets counted by any light vehicle besides a Kubelwagon. It gets snared in ome hit and can't 1v1 any mainline infantry unit as a result. I never...NEVER bother to build this unit. In: COH2 Balance

I'm not forgetting that at all...who cares if it reduces their AI? I remember reading why they lowered the cost of double schreks for Panzergrens and it was probably the dumbest rationale I've ever heard. They literally said it was because the faction with the best and most AT options didn't have enough AT options. My eyes almost rolled back into my head when I read that. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Riflemen need a buff or Volks need a nerf?14 Aug 2019, 02:39 AM So couple things I learned so far: Volks vet is much better than Riflemen and it comes sooner. Riflmen have to vet up to get something they should have anyway (AT snare) and get no combat bonuses until Vet 2 which again is a very slow process. Riflemen are less effective than Volks at long range, although this isn't really surprising. You know maybe the solution is just to give them the snare already then add an actual combat bonus at Vet 1? I've always thought Strumpioneers shouldn't be a starting unit either. Should be a T2 unit like Royal Engineers which aren't nearly as good but for some reason they're a Platoon CP unit. In: COH2 Balance
