Thread: UKF got beat with the nerf hammer (again).8 Jun 2018, 14:56 PM I think they need to give UKF infantry Sections access to smoke with the grenade side tech like the way USF used to be because as it stands now OST will shut you down hard with their T0, insta-pin MG42s and you can't do much about it until teching to the platoon CP but by then its often too late as they've already locked down their strategic points on the map while their MGs are vetted up and their panzerfausts are unlocked so you can forget about using the WASP UC. You only thing you care is your main faction british and not other factions you know i am GLAD they finally nerfed the OP thigns on UKF I play USF more than any other faction myself and they are finally in a decent spot now. I used to enjoy Brits until the last two patches, mainly this last one. Upping rhe pop on their units so they can't build anything late game, nerfing the Crocodile repeatedly because it can actually kill Axis units! The horror! The pop count increases for all factions were unneeded and uncalled for accross the board but they impacted UKF the most. In: UKF Strategies

This used to be a fun faction before the winter patch last year and now its been neutered pretty badly considering the increases to pop, weird Bren nerf, and the neutering of the call in heavies particularly the Crocodile. They get these nerfs and they still retain their major weaknesses like no snare for infantry, no mobile artillery or smoke, no good CQB units with out a doctrine. UKF now sucks worse than USF. The feedback was only that the pre-DBP Luchs timing was too fast. No numbers involved. A 75 second build time was put into DBP and then pushed to live with no testing. The problem here is Relic's strange aversion to testing the final iteration of their balance patches. Which is why we get bugs like the one I posted here. As far as the balace patch goes all I have to say is professional game testers exist for a reason, they should be the ones suggesting changes after making gameplay tests for balance and bugs ect., not the amature community. Now don't get me wrong, I'm glad the game is still supported and I'm sure the community volunteers aren't making bank doing this but sometimes I have to wonder if there us too much bias involved with dedicated members of the community vs the impartiality of professional game testers. No you wouldn't because those other 49 or so players would still have access to the same units and factions you do, and if you're top 50 you're already destroying mediocre players anyway. Look my issue here is pop cost which is a little different than the other costs associtated with units like fuel and MP. Adjusting a units stats and cost is one thing but when you mess with its pop count (by adjusting it upwards) that has the effect of reducing the overall size of armies a player can field which also reduces the combination of units and in effect the number of overall strategies a player can come up with. I hate to see them increase the pop count of ANY units at this point, they really should have reduced the Panther and Comet back to 16 and left the Pershing alone. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Thank you for screwing up the pop count on units guys...19 May 2018, 07:30 AM Because they needlessly increased the pop count on units I noticed a bug with the Pershing call in. If you get the required 600 MP and 230 fuel and have between 18 and 16 remaining pop available the Pershing will show that its available to call in but when you do, it will not arrive and your 600 MP and 230 fuel just gets flushed down the toilet. Now they can fix the bug but I have a better idea: STOP INCEASING THE POP ON UNITS TO BEGIN WITH!!!! This is so rediculous, at this rate we'll be lucky if we can call in more than one tank a few patches from now. ALL infantry need an accross the board decrease of 1 pop for all factions, and ALL medium and above armor need a reduction of 2 pop accross the board. These pop count increases really piss me off, I know USF can decrew but that's not the point. In: COH2 Bugs
