Pffft. Wehrmacht's cheap ass 240 MP Grens beat the hell out of Riflemen especially when they get the MG42 upgrade or G43s. Riflemen preform abysmally for their cost, the only worse infantry unit for the price is probably the UKF Infantry Section. |

They need to do the following the fix the faction:
Revert the stupid nerf to the Bren guns, I don't know WTF they were thinking with what they did to it in the last patch.
Just give the infantry sections a snare, seriously WTF again? Make it like USF where Infantry Sections have yo get to vet 1 if you must but give them a snare, there is no reason why they shouldn't have a snare that's a basic feature, its almost like a bug that they don't have one.
Let the forward CPs build medics AND a retreat point. You can make them build another one for a repair station but cut Brits some slack on this please, good greif.
Make the Comet a better tank. Come on, the thing is expenisve, make it worth the cost probably needs more health and pen or just make it cheaper if you have to leave its stats as it is. Good greif. You know people paid for this faction with their hard earned money it's pretty sad rhey had to nerf it into the ground like they did. |
I hate the whole battle phase too, But WM is the most complete faction on the game, Commanders are only there for the flavor since you have everything from the faction itself. (support weapons, heavy infantry, rocket arty, 3 mediums, one heavy tank, especialized mines)
Also, all units are very cost efficient when used right. The only drawback on WM is that if you lose too much vetted units late game you are screwed.
only other faction that comes close is brits, but brits have no snare LUL
Maybe 2 patches ago Brits were decent not anymore, especially this last spring patch beat them to death with the nerf hammer. Naw, only Soviets are a match for Wehrmacht now. |
This is probably the most babied faction in the game with more get out of jail free cards than you can shake a stick at. Are your 4 man sqauds inferior on paper to Allied infantry? Doesn't matter you get free access to OP grenades to force a retreat. Are you worried about field presence? Doesn't matter 1 MG42 sqaud instapins multiple infantry sqauds while we nerfed Allied MGs just for you because apparently only Wehrmacht should be able to pin with their MGs. Oh lets put not one but two schreks on your shock infantry for only 100 munitions instead of 120 because the faction with the best and most AT apparrently doesn't have enough AT. Lets nerf the scatter on the easy 8 but make the Panzer 4 cheaper and no nerfs for it. Why? Because only Wehrmacht I guess should have a good all rounder for a tank. |

That's the problem: you only played USF/UKF. Play some Ostheer and come back and tell us how great grens are.
I did. My win rate is a good deal better with OST Heer than it is with any other faction. Grens are a bit more vulnerable to stuff like mortars and light vehicles because of their 4 man sqauds but in infantry vs infantry combat they do excellent against Riflemen and Infantry Sections. |
For someone who thinks grens > rifles/IS, all you need to do is L2P.
I L2Ped with hamstrung factions like USF and UKF. I did so because they are much harder than either Axis faction which is what makes winning with them mkre satisfying. But the spring patch just nerfed an already nerfed into the ground Brit faction and needlessly nerfed USF's .50 cal and Easy 8 (wtf? Why?). I was hoping the spring patch would get lost but unfortunately it wasn't. |
I LOVE a T0 build vs USF. I'm very good at it so my opponents will get frustrated and call me a spamming noob. The key is to either have your forces super scattered or super concentrated. Super scattered is to use the very edge of the map and super concentrated so you isolate a single mg and potentially steal it. Then spam light vehicles and you'll eventually win.
Yes, a stupid reason. If I'm going to have to pay friggen 25 fuel and 150 MP (almost the same cost as OKW's T1 teching) for that stupid side tech I ateast would like to have my riflemen be able to use it without dumb REs (which can't even use it if you upgrade their weapons lol) and one officer unit. |
Valentine tank from the British Royal artillery doctrine has one of the best scouting ability in the game. But their pop cap is 12 same as p4, I think it is too much. Maybe the PopCap should be like 8 or 9 like the aec.
Oh its way too much, that thing's a piece of crap too. I tired to use it a few times because I thought it could be a good substitute for for an AEC allowing you to tech to a Bofors but still get light tank to deal with roaving Axis light vehicles. The price I guess is fine and I can live with the CP 6 availability, but the pop is way too much. That being said it feels like its worse than an AEC in terms of penetration and damage. I guess its got more HP and armor though. |
