Thread: StuG life not viable6 Aug 2019, 18:53 PM I play USF 1v1 mostly and it's pretty rare for me to see STUGs. Usually it's a Panzer 4 rush by the OST Heer player. STUGs are fairly easy to deal with as USF (for me). Perhaps people don't really know how to use them though. In: COH2 Balance

Cheap is a stock 5 man rifle sqaud sqaud for 250 MP and 25 reinforcement cost and no side techs or retreats required for weapon upgrades, flame grenades and a snare plus 5 levels of veterancy. Not even close. The most overpreforming unit in this whole damn game are probably Volksgrenadiers and maybe now Panzerfuzilers. Before that it was Jager Light Infantry. Balance team loves giving OKW budget units that wipe the floor with more expensive or equally priced units. And as far as Infantry Sections go 280 MP then 100 MP and 35 fuel plus another 28 MP isn't exactly cheap for an unupgraded 5 man Tommy sqaud. In: COH2 Balance

People complain that its fairly weak for what it is and I don't entirety disagree but it got nerfed like that probably due in part to it being a stock unit. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Luftwaffe Doctrine in 1v1's - Viable or Not?2 Aug 2019, 21:23 PM I almost feel like Fallschrims should be a 5 man sqaud for 400 MP because of all this adding men to sqauds that's happened with other units. One of the coolest things to do is capture team weapons with them because they are strong enough to the point you almost don't need to guard team weapons manned by Fallschrimjagers...but it's an expenisve reinforcement cost. I think that could make for an interesting variation if the J was superior in armor, gun and MG performance, but it’s turret turned significantly slower. That would make the H the flanker/maneuver warfare unit and the J is the slugger with better stats but can be more easily flanked. The combat blitz ability could also increase the turret rotation so Veteran Js could spend munitions to mitigate its slow turret weakness. The J was supposedly more of a retrograde vehicle built because it was easier to manufacture than previous versions. In: Ostheer Strategies
