The idea that the Jackson needed ANY nerfing is so laughable. It only serves ONE task, how dare it be good at that. If it were a good against infantry like the Panther, King Tiger, Panzer IV, Jagtiger, Elefant, I could see how it might be a problem and need a nerf but it's not

I don't play this version of EZ mode very often because it's so boringly simple. But it is funny to see the Axis circle jerk with people complaining that the one faction with every crutch in the book is some how underpowered lol.

P26 wasn't a thing in Africa. Most other "powerfull" Italian Self Propelled guns also weren't around in Africa and were pretty much only used by Germans. The Semovente 75/18 which was around in Africa only has 50mm of armor while it apparently only could penetrate 80mm of armor. No match for a Sherman. The Italians apparently also had Semovente da 90/53s in Africa though. Those could penetrate more armor but they only had 30mm of armor themselfs. Panzer 3/4 were German tanks but idk maybe Italians used some of them. Afaik their only reliable AT guns were AA guns that were used against Tanks too. Those things would be easy targets for mortars or rocket arty in game So pretty much Italians would have to get a slow, turretless TD to even be able to deal with non-doc Mediums. As soon as something like the BP enters the scene they would have a hard time In: COH3 Central

Just include all the prototypes for the Japanese that were never used and call it a day IMO early war Pacific could work pretty decent though Apart from that: I am still hoping for independent Italy in North Africa at least. But it probably won't happen and we will get a "mixed" faction. Because while they could fight Stuart and maybe Valentine I see them having a hard time with Sherman ... or BP In: COH3 Central

This premise does not necessarily justify the , let's say, 'artistic freedom' but nonetheless its not far fetched to have the archer and chaffee there then. By just stating its 1944, they have leeway to have those units as they were operational in '44. Just food for thought I am not complaining about Archer, Whizbang or Chaffee (even though Whizbang and Chaffee are early 1945 stuff). I just wanted to point out that maybe it isn't just "Wehraboos" that are to blame for the setting being 44-45 again ... especially considering that stuff like Tiger I and Panther were avaible from 1943 (or at least from early 1944 in case of Panthers in Italy) on. The only tank so far which could be considered a late 44-45 tank on the axis side is the Wirbelwind Everything else the Axis has is mid 1944 at most. CoH1 also had Pershing and M18 rifle and CoH2 also had Pershing and had stuff like the Comet and Tulip rockets being a non-doc thing In: COH3 Central

And many of my friends did not vote either. So this quote is just a handy cover for the failure of CoH2's single player campaign. Giving up on the Eastern Front is stupid. It's like giving up a huge, delicious piece of cake. The Eastern Front still has a ton of unused units and unreleased stories. Well ... maybe we will indeed get eastern Front DLC but if we were to get one where it is 101% fantasy with Russians fighting in Italy with Prototype tanks in the Singleplayer then that would be a huge letdown. I just hope that, if we get Eastern Front DLC that it will either be set in 1943 to very early 1944, so that it could work with the Italy Wehrmacht, or that they make two extra factions, one late (or very early) war Sov. and one late (or again very early) Axis, that would be seperated from the rest. Because if they would only implement a Sov. faction set in 1944/45 then that would guarantee that over time more and more late war stuff would be added and then, we would have CoH2 all over again I myself would like a -decent- eastern front DLC but would still prefer getting an Asia expansion first.
