Thread: USF Commander Reshuffle4 Nov 2019, 17:10 PM Jump back to quoted post4 Nov 2019, 16:36 PMSander93 I don't think Airborne Company struggles at all, it's a very good and popular commander for team games, particularly because of access to the rocket planes to help fight Axis superheavies. Taking that away would actually be a significant nerf. I would also let the p-47 rocket loiter in Airborne but would change the strafe in Tactical Support to an p-47 bombing run. USA had the strongest air force in the war but the faction has less good air abilities than OKW who had zero air support in 1944/45. Thats why i would suggest to give them at least the p-47 bombing run. In: COH2 Balance

You can make a case that it should stay at Festung Support but honestly i really hope it gets replaced by Breakthrough, a much better fitting ability that is only used in 1 doctrine. In: COH2 Balance

But I guess one could redesign the 250 to become a mobile repair station, Pioneer could passenger that automatically repair once the 250 goes to hull down. If i remember it correctly there is an repair and recovery truck in the gamefiles. Would be a real nice addition for wehrmacht. In: COH2 Balance

Making it 4 CP would already be a good start. Reworkong an underwhelming ability is good but that would not solve the issue with the thematic fit. It doesnt fit at all to lighning war. Transfers between factions is something to be avoided. In general i agree with your opinion but i would seperare units from abilities. Tank commander, emergency repairs and other abilities are not iconic imo and could and should be used to improve wehr commanders. In: COH2 Balance
