Esp vs okw. The maxim imo is still underwelming for its tech plus cost. It still gets wiped frontaly by a single or just 2 squads to often. I can understand that Soviet t2 build have a tough time against OKW. I play wehrmacht in most matches and have to admit that i struggle against soviet t2 because i dont have the stuka to punish team weapons. I dont to say that t2 dont have issues but its certianly better than before the new commander patch. In: COH2 Balance

You might not like what axis need to give for compensation. And no neither shock are OP. Good but not op. Sorry, but Shocks on close maps are op or borderline imo. And I will never understand why shocks got a mid rage buff. Its alright that they murder axis units in close quarter situations but its ridiculous that they can even wipe retreating squads at midrange. Edit: Based on my games since the new commander patch was released i have to say that i see a lot more conscript builds from soviet players. Penal spam is not as dominant as it was before and thats good. In: COH2 Balance

The former were usually experienced and well equipped units, the latter were basically just a militia of random civilians. Sorry, but tats not right. Volksgrenadiers were usually pretty bad armed and had significantly less training than the standard pgren or infantry divisions. It did not help that 16-to-60 year old men had to serve in this divisions too. In: COH2 Balance

Whats the point even? It's also slow and clumsy and dies very easy. It comes way too late and is too expensive for what it gives. 9 times out of ten you are better off with a faster panther. Tiger 1 provides superior firepower because of its rate of fire. +1 In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Mobile Defense Doctrine16 Sep 2019, 20:25 PM The Puma is causing a real dilemma: We dont want the PAnic Puma meta back (because the doctrine is the only one which gives you Puma access) but Aerafield is of course also right in showing that the unit and the whole doctrine is in a really bad state. I personally would prefer a radical solution: Replace the Puma but give the doctrine a really strong unit back. Additionally the Osttruppen reserve should be replaced. I think the 250 from German infantry would be a great fit, and this could be the chance to give the wehrmacht its own elite inf call-in. Doctrine could look like this then: Passiv SdKfz250 or CP2 250 with Pgrens Passiv CommandoPz4 0CP Counter Offensive Tactic 2CP Panzer Tactician 2CP Wehrmacht Falls In: COH2 Balance

If you get rid of the sprint in combat (which you should) there will be little difference in the way shock preform with and without FMR as they don't do much beyond cqb anyways. Falls are great at all ranges Perhaps swapping VA to a durability buff instead of an accuracy one might help make attacking with falls better but not overbearing. Their design is supposed to be glass cannon so making them a bit tougher instead of cannonier might be the way forward Well,shocks dont have the range of falls but are freakishly durable. What bothers me the most with shocks is the mid range buff (last winter patch) that allows them to wipe retreating squads too easily. The same is true for falls? Great please nerf both units. Your idea of va is interesting.Maybe we should simply replace va with defense of the motherland from overwatch. That would solve some issues. In: COH2 Balance

Their transparency is very important and should be commended specifically. This transparency probably feels like a negative to them sometimes because it invites dissenting opinions, many of which are unkind and unhelpful, but I believe that it does a lot of good towards creating positive discussion as well. +1 well spoken! I did not understand and will never understand why Shocktroops got buffed in the last winter patch. And before anyone tells me that Valiant assault is the problem: Shocktroops are in a doctrine with "For mother russia". PLEASE be consistent and nerf over performing units on both sides including Rangers and Shocks. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Gratitude to patch team14 Sep 2019, 20:12 PM Lets look back at mod's team work in the last 12 months: - 10 revamped commanders - 5 new commanders, born by the community but raised by the mod team - several big and smaller patches I esspecially want to acknowledge the communication by the mod team during the work on the revamp and new commanders which was first class. It makes a huge difference if decisions are explained and user questions are answered. I hope you guys have something to say about COH3 balance! In: Lobby
