Any vehicle can crush still, even a Panzer IV can crush infantry. It has been normalized for the M10 though, together with the cromwell. The M10's strenght lies in the fact that it isn't tied to tech and is fairly cheap. It's health pool being too big is necessary since it has no armor lol.
Good luck trying to crush the new Penals. They get too close:

It's a bug with all officers.
Lieutenant/Captain cost 50MP to reinforce if the model is dead. The bug makes it that you sometimes have to pay 50MP per model to reinforce the rest of the squad if you make a mistake when queueing it.

Suggesting that OKW should start with Kubel instead of infantry and also suggesting that flame grenades should be nerfed at the same time is ridiculous.
Think about the consequences of that combination. There are maps with key buildings over key points. You would have literally no way to deny them that building.
Edit: similarly you can't talk about nerfing the auto fire on the field gun and improving the barrage until the barrage is fixed... It's been bugged for years. |

A mortar that has DOUBLE the firepower, is much harder to kill and can brace when it needs to. That justifies the extra 120MP and shorter range.
It needs a slight nerf. I'm sorry, I am sure you enjoy using it and splurging mortar shells across half the map but it's too much.
THe mortar pit is hard. Depending on game mode and map it is either tits OP or a waste of man power. It just seems difficult to make it work the way it needs to in its current form.
I really hate to see major changes but I think I have to say it needs to go and be replaced with some of the other suggestions we have seen through time. But I doubt Relic would let it happen. |

You have to choose and choose it early, often without exactly knowing what your opponent has chosen.
Its an early to mid game gamble.... If your opponent has chosen this you know they wont have decent call ins or artillery for a strong late game.

First of all, thank you for making your intentions clear and addressing the almost impossible balance that is 4v4. I play lots of 4v4 so I feel I have some valid input here.
It seems fair to reduce the 50kg damage so it can't one hit Soviet arty pieces but there are similar soviet call ins that can one hit Axis arty emplacements too (I forget the name, it's a plane that flies over head and drops bombs), please be consistent with these changes and apply them across the board.
The Sturmtiger changes are probably unneeded. The Sturmtiger is a very high risk/reward skill based unit; which I believe is a good thing, the more risk reward you get from a unit the greater the skill cap and the less reliance on RNG required.
It seems to me that the players who get their medium tanks smacked by the Sturmtiger are miss microing their tanks, the telegraph to fire can be seen from space.
It's such a niche unit, so useless in most scenarios that nerfing it or increasing its cost (or even worse making it not purchasable with KT) will banish it to non existence. It simply will never be used, I would say it is not in need of any change.
Otherwise, it all looks great. But I must agree with earlier calls that the biggest problem in team games is the map rotation. It urgently needs to be addressed. |

The KV-1 is a classic example of how nerfing things makes the game change completely over time.
I remember it used to be the best answer to OKW Volks blobs, then it got nerfed. Then Shrek Volks blobs became a huge problem, then OKW changed and Volks got StG.
It's still ok against Volks blobs, but not really much else. |

Since patch I have played maybe 10 games on either side. I will admit I haven't used the Comet, but otherwise I haven't felt any major problem with balance.
4v4 is odd, some maps just make it dumb and hard to feel like you can win certain scenarios. IMHO the map rotation needs a kick then we will see some different opinions. |
