Its pretty much slow non doctrinal IS-2 with more HP, more range and 50% higher damage.
Its fine as it is.
The problem with comparing it to the IS 2 and saying its fine is that the IS 2 is also in a pretty bad spot right now. They both have the same problem, their scatter sucks, so they can hardly hit infantry, the difference is that the KT has to fight larger and better squads with better supporting TDs. |
It was just nerfed because of how stupidly op it was.
The fact that its hardcounters actually hardcounter it now is not relevant and not an issue.
Ok first of all the bigger problem with the King Tiger is it's scatter, which doesn't have much to do against TDs, but rather aginst infantry and also the SU 85 and the Firefly were good against it before, the only thing that changed was that they overbuffed the Jackson, so it preforms too well against the King Tiger. Just, because something is a hardcounter doesn't mean it can't overpreform. |
Then get P4 instead
Thats definitely an alternative, but the KT should definitely be buffed. |
That plus PaK43 LITERALLY uses 88.
Lots of guns use 9mm rounds, are they all the same? |
hahaha i like how everything okw is underpowered joke
Gee its almost as if the faction is underpreforming. Also he said that the flak halftrack was potentialy OP, so maybe read carefully next time. |
The list is pretty impressive and I agree with almost all of it, I would however add a few things.
Skfz 250 (No vet, no weapons, no armor, and also not cheap, Very UP)
Sturm Officer (In my experience this is the least build Axis unit, because it can force your whole army to retreat, his abilities give buffs to enemy squads, and he has no vet, UP)
Volks MP40 (Its dps is too low for an upgrade that turns the squad into a close range only squad, UP)
Sturmtiger (Needs a rework, it used to be insane, but now its pretty bad. I think giving it double the range and increasing its scatter a lot could work, it would be like a one round railway strike, UP)
OKW emergency repair on the Elite Armor doctrine (literally a worse version of allied comander abilities, repairs critical damage and a tiny bit of health, but makes the vehicle totally vulnerable, UP)
OKW Panzer Commander (He calls in an overpriced and underwhelming artillary strike while costing more munitions than an MG and at the cost of AI, very UP)
120mm mortor (Its survivability is too high and at close range it wipes squades very easily, OT)
Soveit mini AT gun (I dont even remember its name its so bad, Definition of UP) |
Then simply do not get them.
Meta of rushing for heaviest armor possible is dead.
Time for axis players to accept that fact, move on and remind themselves that there are units before P5, P6 and KT.
Panzer 4s dont exactly preform well against allied TD either. I understand that TDs are supposed to counter heavies, but right now the Jackson is overpreforming and the KT is underpreforming. |
Think it's about time you changed your sig.
I still like it, its a nice reminder.
On topic the mortar pit is very hard to place, but not useless. Unfortunatly its just an inherently badly designed unit that either holds the Brits back or is stupidly OP like before. |
>Topic about the fact that OKW lacks proper AT and that's a real balance issue
>Instant reply that you can build a TD in T4 so it's somehow fine (lolwut?)
>jp4 is really lackluster and it doesn't even adress the topic's point. Also jackson is a thing
>lol just cover jp's flanks, it's ez pz if ur good
>The whole topic is literally about how OKW's non-vehicle based AT sucks therefore you can't cover anything properly
Welp, looks like the circle of braindead fanboyism is finally complete. Shall we start again then?
Never underestimate Katitof's ability to bring up something irrelevant to avoid buffing axis. |
Why?
OKW got all of that(ISG, puma, luchs) and they gave up nothing for it.
He was clearly talking about Ost not OKW, and OKW cant help Ost in 1v1 games. |
