The "Bolster Squad Package" which is like a weapon upgrade for everyone, is cost effective, comes early. Maybe they should halt it for more later. Change something because Brits usually do have the upper hand. OR Give indivdual upgrades for a to Bolster Squad similarly to the Wehrmacht "German Infantry Doctrine". This will fix issues especially what OKW suffers from since they get easily outmatched in the beginning. (Depends heavily on map also, if it is urban, lots of buildings, Brits dominate). ... Here is how I also see it Bolster Squad costs ammo (60 ammo or less), limited to 1 Bren (45 ammo) only Without Bolster upgrade, can get 2 Brens. It will increase diversity, either going for more durability or more firepower. Diversity is important. I think this is what needs changing. No buffs required personally for Grens, just nerf the UKF Tommies specifically. Something needs amends Be interesting to see what blister tied behind anvil (any maybe a 3rd weapon slot in hammer? Thread: Kubel needs changes3 Apr 2019, 00:22 AM @jagd Wolfe I do play okw, I feel like I'm the only bloody one. Pro tip, don't dive your Kuble into multiple infantry squads! Against multiple squads it's support or out capping while the enemy concentrates their forces. I didn't test in cover because that wasn't a paramater. The test was simply to determine how the raw stats of the Kuble hold up against the raw stats of allied starting infantry as the claim was that a Kuble can't kill anything, not even RE. that is false. The Kuble is durable enough to out fight all allied infantry. If you start applying modifiers than of course it falters but it has the tools to ensure that when it strikes the enemy isn't using those. Also idk why you mentioned its moving DPS as I never once even alluded to the fact that it's a chase unit, it's not. That's not its job at all. It can damage and kill models and cap territory. It can tell you where the enemy mgs are so you don't walk your sturms into a trap, hell I've used it to flank the MG,, deal damage, get the MG to pack up and then close with sturms. It's very versatile in the early stages all that it is missing its vet accessibility. At any rate I'm taking my time to do tests (50 bloody tests before I went to bed) and the only response from people who arnt bothering at all and just making claims is either "your tests don't replicate proper battlefield conditions" which might I add would involve Sturm pios, and "well other units can garrison" its literally a grab bag for any kind of buff for the strongest starting faction in the game that the faction does not need. The Kuble offers the flexibility to still have capping power even if you go double Sturm, it offers flanking DPS and a bleed/harassment tool and it offers Intel to a faction that can make the most out of all of those. A starting assault squad and starting light tank would be OP as all hell. @balancedgamer urban maps are indeed the bane of the Kuble (pathing OP) all LVs do, but it makes up for it in open maps (the majority of maps) and is invaluable in team games where snowballing is king. Is far more adaptable in the early stages than probably any other unit, it makes up for that by not being as adaptable later. It's kinda like ass grens vs normal grens in that Way. I maintain, if it can get vet then it will be A-OK. It already has arguably the best vet 1 ability in the game, vet 2 is more movement, vet 3 is self heal, vet 4 is combat buffs and vet 5 is Supression and a target size reduction. All GREAT vet, it just never gets there (I got one to vet 5 once and it promptly got smoked by an isu152...) Little steps before vast balance changes. The vet is unachievable. Make it achievable and see if that improves it before you start strapping rockets and jet engines ND extra plates of armour on it In: COH2 Balance

Nice to know i can count on hacking into opponent hardware to make kubelwagen viable. The Kuble has mobility and sight to always ensure the best matchup. If the enemy is hiding behind cover waiting for the Kuble that's a 210mp unit occupying up to a 280mp unit. If I put the infantry in cover then it's the best case scenario for the infantry and since the claim was that the Kuble can't fight anything I didn't apply the infantry benifit of cover. In a real game scenario, while the infantry is moving to cover the Kuble would be closing to negate it, I can't test that myself unfortunately in a lab setting but I ACTUALLY use the Kuble unlike anyone in this thread it seems so I know that it is a force multiplier in these scenarios. Usually a Kuble should be supported by sturms or volks but can fight a 1v1 as well, which is important in the early stages of the game. In: COH2 Balance

Nope, just generically "beat" Can you show me one of those tests ? Attack moved in an open field since the consensus was that the Kuble couldn't fight anything at all ever. I can link you the post where I screen capped the aftermath of each bout (10 tests against each allied t0 unit) but if you scroll back it will be right about when people stopped saying it can't fight and starting bitching that it can't garrison. Many units in game should have a definite defined role than something undefined or being lackluster. The highest I ever gotten with Kubel was vet 2 or 3, that match was more than a month ago, it was around 20-25mins. Others were already vet 5 even earlier before Kubel got even that veterancy. Elements of the game has to reworked or looked through carefully again. Kubel needs buffs. Problems have to solved rather then argued further. As was pointed out, the Kuble has stupidly high vet requirements. Shiuld that be fixed the Kuble can experience things like self repair and targeted Supression which would increase its ease of use ten fold. In: COH2 Balance

Or is this a game? Anyway if kubel costed 280, but its water gun is upgraded to a real machine gun then ill pay that anytime soon. Edit: Funny thing, you say in other threads, cons CANT fight because of reasons but kubels conveniently CAN. They both are dirt cheap, but cons are trash and kubels is intended to be useless? In a fight to the death the Kuble will outlast any other t0 infantry it faced in 96% of the tests. I'd call that being able to fight. It's a part of an army though, not the whole thing. Use it to cap and use its mobility to help goon enemies. Also cons are not cheap as they cost 240mp and then another 205mp in sidegrades (that do nothing but stuff for cons so it is a direct cost increase to them) and 35 fuel. That's half a T70 EXTRA just for a full kit. The Kuble costs 210mo and can beat 280mp in an outright fight. Cons cost 240mp and can lose against 250mp infantry. In: COH2 Balance

Everyone has different tools which are to be balanced by the OTHER tools they have. Sturms and a garrison wouldn't be balanced. The Kuble can 1v1 any allied t0 unit. That's quite good. But people want it to be BETTER in combat? No NOW they want it to garrison solely because allies have light transports? Yall don't know what you want. You just want some buff to take it to OP and don't care what it is. All it needs is a vet accessibility buff. In: COH2 Balance

Wc51 and Kuble both: Cost similar Similar durability Same timing Both LVs that can cap territory But one can reach its full potential without any extra investments. The only similarities between cons and Obers is that they have bolt action rifles and legs. If you want to compare cons to something try volks: Same timing Similar costs Similar durability Snare Only stock units with thrown fire weapons Can build cover Oh and comparing like that you will find cons wanting BTW.
