Ostwinds are not a huge problem on their own, although they have been buffed far more than was necessary.
The problems emerge if the ost player build 2 or 3 pgrenz and upgrades them with schrecks. Add in a couple of Mg42 and a couple of paks and all of a sudden its just cancer overload. Things become worse if a commander with sprint is chosen.
Another truly pathetic example of over buffing units without considering how people will abuse the change.
Every patch just brings more annoying shortsighted BS changes.
sounds like a good use of combines arms??? exactly the purpose of OST and thanks for showing the balance team has done a good job. If combines arms as you've described is not what ost supposed to do and is cancer, please explain how to use the faction? |
you just described what the actual game is. There is no real conclusion.
As it is now, obers not only are sort of a meme, but their oportunity window is literally negative, because their timing is paired with AI mediums, heavy AoE damage and TD fights.
It is far worse for a stock unit to not have a chance to be present ingame than being choosed not to be used.
Obers have the exact same issue than Doctrinal M10, but at least M10 IS doctrinal
To put Obers into a secondary mainline AI infantry like penals sounds fair, since no faction can handle to mass volks, sturms and obers. It is a MP strain
dont obers have some sort of multiplier that makes them more venerable to AOE attacks?
But obers coming at t1 sounds way to early, even without the upgrade. And for the people saying remove STG's and make obers come out earlier, that's such as stupid idea as OKW will be FORCED to rely and getting obers out EVERY GAME as volks without stg's will get trashed on.
Right now, volks are performing for cost as proved previously by Jae for jett, and going obers is optional if you want that extra AI power. The solution u guys have will make things worse |
Although i dont like the idea of people skipping tiers and getting out heavies fast, its okay as long as they are limited to one.
But i think they should have at least delayed the tiger changes so they can make the heavy tank changes to all factions at the same time instead of just ostheer |
No. Nerf this unit and see USF tumble into nothingness again.
as long as its dmg, pen and range is not touched, some nerfs would be fine |
The Jackson used to have low hp for high speed, and high moving acc, but they buffed its HP so it can slug it out with axis heavies, but they didn't touch anything else. Lower its moving acc to 0.5 like every other tank in the game and reduce its speed by a small margin. |
The King Tiger has a lot of other significant traits, such as a very good gun and very high front armor. It needs to have a significant weakness to be balanced, which (besides mobility) is its low rear armor.
The Churchill however is nothing but a box of armor and health, so it should excell at least in those two charactaristics. Its significant weakness (again besides mobility) is its mediocre gun.
yet we dont see any KT op threads, because KT gets countered easily by td's where as axis TD's struggle vs churchills |
what a load of bs in this thread, 1v1's ele and jagd doesn't even get touched and i barely see them in team games.
on topic, absolutely Churchill should have its rear armour reduced to reward flanking. People need to understand axis has a harder time against tanks like Churchill because they dont have access to 60 range, high pen + high damage TD's if they did, Churchill's wouldn't be an issue.
So for god sake stop comparing the rear armour of a kt to it |
I am clarifying your claim that "panthers have seen their health increased" at your request. The claim can lead to misunderstandings since the Panther become stronger at vet 0 weaker at vet 2.
Again I am clarifying in your claim that "Jackson dps has been lowered...", M36 has received serous buff and it much stronger than it was during its "glass cannon" design.
The same goes for SU-85.
The problem is quite simply that effectiveness of allied TDs/Heavily armed infatry is so high that creates a still meta.
And continuing to buff allied Tank to make them a more a attractive alternative to TD/Infantry is a step in the wrong direction.
Su85, having high pen is fine, as it has glaring weaknesses in its speed, rotation and lack of turret whilst jackson is the main culprit of blatantly OP TD. Personally i would also prefer if they reverted the vet re shuffle on the panther. Its slight buffs to its offensive bonuses were enough |
but why? ther already do have an effect in combat roles, and if you really want them more effective in combat you can buy flamer upgrade. (strums alrdy good in combat, RE can equip from racks and sappers are already decent in cqc) |
grens just need a little bit more resistance to explosive damage, so it gets wiped less in the late game vs tanks and arty. giving them an extra man will just break balance, especially when your trying to buff them against other OP (5 man double brens). its just non stop power creep |
