I like the map's general layout, but the detailing in world objects and placement of certain territories is problematic, to say the least.

On a serious note. This is what I wrote in the Shoutbox when someone was complaining about Brits:
"Brits so easy to win with. I love them so much. Just don't make emplacements plz And Trench + Vickers is OP and better than Bofors. Also the occasional mortar pit behind a building is fine.

Last night I played vs Stormless team and i lost my side because of Artillery cover being 100%,decrewing my pak 40 and when my Panther almost escaped from the zone,bang,was hit by arty,that was gg,i try to recover but then 2 comets missed my pz grens with shreck,one squad was hit hard losing 2 models,other instant wiped...Comet are so good vs infantry.Artillery cover should not be 100% accurate |

Mortar pit doesn't have a single offensive vet bonus that would directly improve its performance in any way.
Well it range higher than 60 when it's vet 3 it's not offensive.RNG should be lees mad at me and at least 1/5 miss one of my squads. |
Bofos and 17 pounder AT are quite suitable for emplacements but not the mortars! Simply remove the mortar pit then add a common mobile mortar to the brits,all problems solved.Relic pls!
I agree.So much accuracy on moving squad when mortar pit it's vetted makes me retreat all the day.I can't even flank without mortar auto firing through fog of war and alerting enemy..making me lose half a squad..next second another one then i need to retreat |
British emplacements can't survive leigfest, double leig and it's dead. It takes forever to repair them and also engineers die easily under leigs fire. Right now bofos and 17 pounder are useless. Not to mention what walking stuka does with 17 pounder. Forward accembly is extremely easy to kill.
Suggestion:
1.Bofos should receive hitpoints buff from 1000 to 1200 or slight range increase and penetration buff.
2.17 pounder should shoot throuth objectives just like pak43 do, or major hitpoints buff. Vet 1 ap ammo increases damage by (i am not sure how much is should be) and important rotation. for a short time.
3.Mortar emplacement hp increased only slightly.
4.Forward assemly need major health increase.
5.Anvil should make all emplacements easier to repair at all.
Mortar halftruck incendary shell damage on emplacements should be reduced by half.
Engeneers that repair emplacement during brace should receive 50% less damage from artillery.
Infantry that stay inside emplacement shouldn't be wiped by single panzerwerfer barrage that easy.
Spamming emplacements should not bring you victory by turtling on both fuels and then rolling cromwells and comet tanks .You want pounder 17 to be like pak 43 but you can kill the pak 43 with just 1 grenade,off map arty,mortar,1 squad.
Boffors increased penetration buff?ho ho,panzer iv get damaged from the front by boffors.I don't want my panthers to be damaged also by "no skill place boffors everywhere and live long enough to win in resource management tactics".
Anvil should stay the same or make engineers even worse at fighting and repair speed increased a little.
Engineers should repair a little slower...try to use stand fast+engineers and you can't lose your emplacements

There is a big difference between 1vs1&2vs2 vand 3vs3&4vs4...because of tactics and stragety.In 1vs1&2vs2 you need very balanced maps because one mistake it's gg and in this modes you need to be a great tactician and less a strategist to win.In 3vs3&4vs4 you need to be a great strategist than tactician because of blobs,small maps,few flanking positions.I would like more competitive maps than those open field maps that favor AXIS and those city maps that favors Allies |
Then that means that their whole team is largely immobile. A defensive line made out of mostly static emplacements and supporting units is the best counter against a team of knob-heads who can't communicate and just attack straight on across the whole line. So don't be a knobhead and get your team together and strike through at one point, then clean up the rest. You know, use tactics!
When i play with my friend it's no problem but in automatch,random people are random.I prefer to go 1vs1 but if his enemy it's british i will be 2vs1 because of their mortars..I always try to take the mortar pit..for me bofors it's meh,i make 1 mortar,pak and dead.but mortar pit have some crazy accuracy |

they wanna see cool maps, explosions and tanks and balance doesnt really bother them

sittard summer,scheldt are camp map,unbalanced,annoying.I hate both of them.If you want to play them then go in custom game with others or AI.Those"cool" map shouldd be played only in custom games.I prefer balanced maps with more flanking routes in 4vs4 |
Then cap the rest of the map and take it out later. Get a few fuel cashes to speed up your tech. If he is dumping that much resources into a static defense, he is not going to be able to punish you for it.
In 4vs4 you can't do that.They will have 2-3 IS that destroy grens.At vet 3 the mortar pit have an insange range coupled with it's ability to fire faster..he he,watch your mg,at guns die in 4 seconds |
