Most of us like having both MG's and ATG's so it is 1190/250. Are you trying to tell us that 870/175 is more than 990/215? osther (like SU) don't get free stuff (officer FPR or flack gun) like other faction that's why su and osther have similar cost 175, 185 (then their tank cost 90 and 120 so they come around the same time) compare it okw and u will see the picture (as one could make the same argument switching ost for su and usf for okw) btw the 250 cost is if u got for bot at gun , mg and LV , it's 230 if u go for at gun and mg only In: COH2 Balance

Panzershreck penetrate all USF Tanks. But you are a fan of the axis, what to talk about with you. There is not even a guarantee that the bazooka penetrates the luchs at medium or long range. You still have to pay fuel and MP to access the racks. It makes every game against similarly skilled opponents into the same tired see-saw. You're behind while waiting for the first officer. Also it does not make sense too much that you leave out the nade tech price completely. But you're missing the point that I make since we are talking about early game timing here. USF is missing on quite a lot of MP (and a bit of FU) in the early game if they wanted to side tech everything to about OKW level, so they usually can't do that. no dude i counted it, okw 15 from staring fuel, 15 for truck, 15 for medic, 25 for tier 1 = 70 fu usf 10 for ambulance , 15 for nade, 15 for weapons, 35 for tier 1 = 75 fu but yes i do agree in mp okw has an advantage In: COH2 Balance
Thread: UKF September patch discussion30 Aug 2019, 21:32 PM dear mod team fix land matress i believe the nerf hammer was too hard on the poor thing (land mattres), the damage it does is similar to the katushya but has lower mid range damage and has a 0.5 reduce damage vs heavy cover, it's the only one to have it (all other have 1), but the bigger problem is the targeting circle, it's to big and it does not actually show where the rocket are gonna hit, the problem I believe is the distance ratio of a whopping 0.6 (all other have rocket art have 0.16) and the scatter angle of 15 To fix the unit I believe normalizing the ratio is the first step (if not 0.16 at least 0.2-0.3), then changing the angle to 12-13 would make it more consistent maybe normalizing the cover damage to 1 too ? Or maybe 0.75 as is the only team weapon art (so no easy puma hunt)? Here some img for what I mean the targeting circle doesn't actually show where the rocket hit, 1 at max range 1 at minimum (bigger than my resolution) the blue dot is where I clicked, the red lines are the circle edge, u can see its worth jack shit as indication, in green I made the circle(?) of what the actual targeting circle should actually look like, so around half of what it shows and yes I have a paint master degree thank you here something vipper made so u can even better understand what I mean In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Redirect thread: faction teching and timing30 Aug 2019, 21:30 PM Jump back to quoted post30 Aug 2019, 20:45 PMHannibal One thing though that you can't deny about the timing: While OKW does not pay more for the total tech tree then others, OKW pays less for the early game tech of weapon upgrades, nades, healing and first tech up (about 400 MP and 55 FU for OKW (or 75 FU with mechanized tech up and equivalent engineer upgrade) vs - don't have the exact sheet at hand - approx. 750 MP and 65 FU for USF). Now USF upgrades are stronger, but this is still big early game advantage, especially combined with Sturmpios and earlier fielding of Volksgrenadiere. again 1 u forgot the missing starting fuel, 2 u forgot that medic cost fuel, 3 anmbulance 10 fu and nades+weapons 30 fuel so if okw gors for tier 1 and medics while usf goes for weapons upgrades and ambulance and tier 1 okw 70 fuel (the -15 from the start) usf 75 fu the advantages usf : can upgrade 2 weapons one any unit, smoke nades , mobile reinforce and healing, can get upgrades earlier than okw the advantage okw: get access to 3 units instead of 1 In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW September patch discussion30 Aug 2019, 20:38 PM i think again the mod team is going for the opposite direction and band aid fix (easy fix) instead of a real solution keep the reduction of starting mp from the previous patch instated of increasing volks cost, reduce their mid and close dps they deal too much damage there the panzer HQ tier is still lack cluster and too expensive for what it offers, either reduce further the cost to 20 fu and increase the unlock to 100 fu or put the JP4 in the panzer tier again with the pfusi we have the same problem as volks, increase/reduction of price are not the solution , increase the dps of the pfusi for what they actually cost, try giving them STV copy or buffing the far range dps of their rifle to gren lvl , the current change will just make them more spammable In: COH2 Balance
