As for the KV-8, there is an "M" version that was equipped with 2 flamethrowers, I guess one replacing the main gun and one replacing the Hull MG, like on the OT-34. Speaking of which here's a picture depicting a KV-8 with it's co-axial flamethrower and an OT-34, the flamethrower version of the T-34:
I guess the KV-8 could be made into an all out flamethrower tank similar to the Flamm-Hetzer if it won't fire it's main gun together with the flamethrower.
There are only two serial variants for KV-8:
1. KV-8 based on KV-1, which we have in the game
2. KV-8S based on KV-1S(this one pictured on your image). It means new hull, turret and new flamethrower as well (ATO-42 instead of ATO-41).
IMO 45-mm gun should remain as functional. Tank has it, and there is no reason to switch it off. I still fail to understand, why it can't shoot with all weapons together. This gun is not OP for sure, and it won't make KV-8 into second Crocodile. |

I don't want to leave this siggestions in the feedback thread, because people there discussing balance. For bugs these suggestion not match as well. That's why i created separate thread, like i did it many times before for every patch since first community balance patch in winter 2016/2017. |

Two years ago, one guy asked about this option. Here is the answer of ex-community balancer and ex-master modmaker:
It is possible to add a permanently-on prioritise-vehicles thing for models that carry AT weapons. However that thing stops working the moment stuff garrisons buildings.

However, everything slipped into the expected situation. The week has passed and the topic itself has faltered. The forum “developers” didn’t even really thank the author of this topic and the video clip for the information provided, which they, in fact, have to dig out themselves. Well, the fact that a lot of players supported it - they just do not care. They are interested in "sawing" the balance for three and a half buddies. This is not news, this is normal. I am in no way trying to somehow blame the "developers" for this. But at least to artificially show interest and gratitude to the guys who spent the time and effort for feedback, I think you could do it, yes...

Just because relic did not responsed direct in this thread it does not mean that they did not saw it.
Things are more complicated than many people think.
But it's a great video and I appreciate it.

Since the USF base was mentioned here I thought it would fall into the same category, that's why I mentioned it.
The difference is, that USF redesigned base still the USF base, but more comfortable to use. There is no any balance issues with this change, because redesign doesn't give any new options for USF player. As Mr.Someguy mentioned in his thread 3 years ago, it's supposed to be more like UKF base.
Your suggestions give new options for OKW player. That's the problem. I do really like this idea, but according to my own rules:

I think this is a good QoL change:
sWS Halftracks can no longer be called in, instead you can call in a Med HQ, Mech HQ and Flakpanzer HQs which can deploy and undeploy anywhere on the map.
It fixes several design issues with the OKW:
No more being able to make a sWS after all HQs have been setup, I've done this multiple times in order to have a quick replacement if I lose an HQ truck.
No more cheap canceling of an HQ truck's deployment if it becomes under fire to get back resources.
Gives the option to players to adapt to the situation with their trucks instead of regretting their decisions on where to place their HQ truck for the rest of the game.
This change is more about balance issues, only because it can undeploy and move away.
My thread aimed to make game more comfortable to play and UI fixing, without influence on balance.
