Yeah, especially when you keep in mind that vet 4 and 5 are gonna be gimped as hell making you wonder why the OKW have 5 levels of vet to even begin with.

If they add the Tiger Ace to the OKW that would also allow them to rework the Ost's Tiger Ace which is good in my book, even with minor adjustments. The community has given them enough ideas for that.

I also suggest a new infantry squad inspired by the Spanish Blaue Division using the gun crew models with K98ks.

What I imagine is a 5man squad which is in between the Grenadiers and Ostruppen. I simply call them "Foreign Infantry" altho of course a better name could be thought of.

Aren't the new Soviet Field Camp and Wehrmacht Concrete Bunkers new units? Pretty sure their models are new.

The field camp is already used in the Soviet repair station if you look close enough while the repair bunker is a leftover from the original CoH.

There are several other left overs like the American casualty station and the British artillery emplacement for example.

Good to see you guys like most changes. Agreed on 1. I think 3 would need testing too - 60 with only rotating in camo or 55 with crawling speed are both feasonable.

Point 2 (OKW opening) is a pretty large discussion on its own and it might be too big to change along with the rest. It might be good to turn that into a 'phase two' concept and have a look at it at a later time. Otherwise I also like the idea of adjusting starting manpower and reducing SwS so I've added it to the OP.



I've thought about the Kubel but I'm a bit divided. It's next to useless in team games but pretty good in 1s for (back)capping. If more people feel like it needs to be changed I'll add it to the list.

Puma accuracy I'm also divided about. I feel like it's the only thing that keeps it balanced as with good micro and a bit of luck it can already reliably take on (lower end) medium tanks.



I've also been thinking about moving the Sdkfz 251/20 Infrared Halftrack to Special Operations as an accuracy buff unit to Panthers and Obersoldaten STG44, and moving Obersoldaten to fill the spot in Battlegroup Headquarters.

However, this (along with a Panzershreck upgrade for Obersoldaten) would be quite a significant change and I'm not sure if Relic wants to be this radical. The USF tech changes were very minimal. I've aimed to keep the proposed changes in the OP to be fairly minimal too. I have now specified that in the OP.

If your proposed changes are enough to "fix" the OKW then I agree.

Hmmmm, looks like a 250/1 or something to me for the Wehrmacht as well as crew repairs or something and maybe my idea of advanced bunkers being a retreat point and having an a repair station upgrade, no idea.

As far as the Sherman Commander goes it has a weird shield emblem at the middle which reminds me of the All Units mod upgrade of giving tanks additional defense with an HP/Armor boost of some sort.

I mean there is little they can really do with the Sherman unless they introduce the Sherman Jumbo which I don't believe they will.

I am guessing that anything ranging from Sherman variations like the E8, 76(W), 105 and Flame Sherman are possible. Ability wise maybe they'll take ideas from the American Armored Company from CoH with raid tactics, the M8 Greyhound, War Machine and so on.

But they did say no new models, maybe they're gonna port over the ones from CoH unless they are already hidden leftovers in the files like the emplacements and stuff, just give it a fresh coat of paint and voila.
