The 57mm gets less rof from all 3 levels of vet than others do at vet 2 alone. Even the soviet baby AT gun gets more ROF. I really wish some vet was standard, or at least consistent. Surely that's because it's ROF is already the fastest though right? I don't know what the actual ROF is after vet, but the 57mm definitely is the fastest firing by default In: COH2 Balance

Tanks are the true threat to AT guns veterancy RA and speed... And they recently added +10% RA to all AT guns, infantry are plenty threatening to AT guns In: COH2 Balance

Rifles are superior, tommies are slightly better, and cons are superior too once they get 7 men You could maybe say tommies are "weaker" because of no snare. It's 99% intended as a balancing measure; to delay the ability's activation. Yes exactly. Obviously with the AP rounds you have the fact that it's different ammunition altogether, but even then the balancing part of the forced reload is what's important In: COH2 Gameplay

If it didn't have a drawback players would just pop it mid push and shut them down with minimal effort. In: COH2 Gameplay

But now you can, so... The ability does a lot more than reload your MG, it's still a great ability In: COH2 Gameplay
