Not that strange for that big gun to shoot trough a house and kill a tank behind it. But it is cool to see and kinda stupid when the jagdtiger shoots trough 4-5 houses and hit with full damage
Is it possible for Relic to make that damage is hugely reduced after the first house? And lets say impossible to penetrate 3rd house after the first and second? Even more to tweak if the house is made from brick or just wooden house, so that matters too in final stopping power that hits the target at end?
If the engine(of game) allows that kind of stuff to be put in game, then that should be "optimal" thing to put it to balance that unit and keep it between fun and not annoying. |
It only kills tanks... that's 26 pop cap and 435 fuel tied up in the slowest moving vehicle that has very little anti-inf capability. If you lose your tanks, come back with all infantry and see how he does.
True... If u cant counter Jagdtiger with armor, then by switching to infantry will just set a huge drawback on all that resource that went into JT. Any armor that is left for u can be used to support infantry as much as possible. 800 manpower and 290 fuel for OKW to get unit that cant counter your new strategy is valid strat*(not best word for lategame) IMO |

It's really frustrating to fight german armor after 20min.
There is no point in playing allies these days because germans can play defensive for 20min and win after that.

Maybe in US case, but soviets have almost same late game options for heavy tanks just as ostheer or OKW. Unless u are saying that IS-2 or ISU even KV tanks are lacking behind axis armor. |
Look, Brutus, reality check,, please! I have just looked at your card, and it appears you do not play Shocks at all in 1 v 1.
Cruzz, on the other hand, is one of the best players in 1 v 1.
Discussion is fine, but there comes a point when arguing for the sheer hell of it defeats the object. It may be, for instance, that you play Axis at a lower level than Cruzz, and therefore things happen at your level which do not occur in high level game play.
COH2 Balance is about balance - balance at the top end of the scale.
Back to topic: Jaeger Light Infantry
Started to play recently with Soviets, still didnt have time to play 1v1 game modes because i have usualy someone to play with... But i still didnt play with or against Jaeger light infantry, and u guys say that they are overall weaker by firepower than FSJ, now if the JLI is as fragile as FSJ then they probably are not OP, because then they are weaker on long-mid range, still fragile and dont have any bombs or smokes nades. Maybe my opinion is irelevant but that's just my two cents |
1. Shocks don't spawn from any building on the map
2. Shocks cost more than 340MP
3. Shocks actually need to get in close to do anything because they only have shovels instead of guns.
4. They don't beat 3 volks, except just maybe if you put all your volks in one huge blob next to a corner, and the shocks round that corner. Otherwise I'd always bet on the 3 volks winning the fight with ease.
Well, they have grenades, smoke and armor. And if u dont A-move toward 3 volks u can take them... |
Remove the blitz I say. Keep Tiger as it is. But give it a realistic range. The Panther's range I would say. The Tiger canon was even better than the Panthers's.
It wasn't better than Panthers gun on long range. Very long 75mm barrel excel than the tigers shorter 88mm cannon. I mean, if we talk on pure long range accuracy, panther was better. |
Since comparing with soviet tanks is forbidden and off-topic,then i vote for blitz nerf along with reducing tiger armor to 200.Without this tank destroyers are useless against it..as shots are bouncing off.(Now who does that remind me of?)
At this nerfing rate, we should be happy if we keep the barrel on Tiger next month

The only vehicle that it would make sense to have blitz is the panther, other german vehicles were rather slow, and mobility is supposedly one of the advantages allied tanks should get, yet with blitz that's all negated.
Tiger had very similar average speed as US tank m4 sherman, but offroad tiger should be faster, because of wider tracks. Still not as fast as on road, but still faster cross country than sherman. |
im just trying to refute the point that okw/ostheer are not as gimped early game as most people think.
Well, in my case, it is easier to play as OKW in 1v1 against USF or Sov than the ostheer. But, i often struggle in mid-late game because i tend to do stupid moves and/or decisions later in game.
Why is easier? Double sturm+kubel then volks. I can even go for OKW HT for AI support and still manage against USF AA because OKW AT is cheap and fast to deploy.
Just, kubel is a hell to keep alive because that unit's pathfinding is ridiculously stupid and annoying. But with little luck i can dominate very early game. |
What would happen if the price goes up for every super-tank? Like 35-40% bigger price. Then they would be even bigger risk to take one and very rare in battle... Im not suggesting to do that, just askin on what u guys.think... |
