Kubel wasn't nerfed, just added a minor fuel cost that gets back to you after you scavenge it.
Well, that affects then cost effectiveness of a unit. Cant check ATM but i think it got bigger size so it easier to get shot by everything except small arms fire (small arms fire always got 100% hit on kubel) |
Weak early game? Kübel, Sturmpios, 7 min Puma?
Kubel got nerfed, sturms are nerfed and they are kinda sucky for their price, puma is kinda op, but for 70 fuel and 66% fuel income she is fine. Almost a fuel price of a t34, if negating fuel penalty.
But, the KT will not be changed with other unit, i guarantee it. Maybe it will be nerfed to oblivion, but it wont be changed or removed. |
Well, for JT and ISU. I think that a simple lockdown would be a very decent "fix".
Let's say a JT, he will have little smaller range AND cant shoot trough buildings until u lock the unit in place, and to "unlock" it again to get it moving it will need like 5-6 seconds, and while unlocking it can't shoot or rotate. While locked it act's normal like before. For ISU lets say that if u don't lock the unit in place then u need to press reload after every shot and it cant move while reloading, or it reloads a lot slower. With lock it is "normal" and to unlock it u need 5-6 seconds... And that would be a decent start for adjusting this two unit... So guys what u really think about this? |
Hope for the game? Nah.
It will be good if they dont bring new bugs, and problems with this patch. And that will be a progress from Relic, IMO CoH2 is in very very sad situation ATM. |
Only 40 euros? I'll pre order or order without any hesitation. I have a good job, 40 euros is nothing. I spend more on a night out drinking. You're all hypocrites who will order the game when it's released regardless the price. This forum is nothing but complaining about Relic while you all play the game and post your vids and replays about how good you are and how good the game is. It's just soooooo uncool to say something good about the developers. And no, I'm no Relic developer, just a gamer who likes this game.
Not sure if sarcasm or serious. |
Coh2 dropped to much to take this move, that project should be from start, or maybe on CoH3. Just there isn't a huge number of players online to keep that system "alive"... This game lacks a huge playerbase, with a reason.
New DLC will probably be a fail, mostly because of the huge price. A DLC SP campaign that will just recycle units that are already in game and give them different name with some maps and scripted events, only "interesting" thing so far is the campaign map, probably be interactive, nothing new. For just 40USD.
Even if they did all that that u mentioned @nwglfls they would probably put a 1xxUSD pricetag on how much they value they work for money. |

Ah, i am in a same boat as OP here. I got a strange feeling that this is a just a "Bread and circuses" move from Relic, you know?
Because there is a huge list of promises that couldn't be filled by Relic.
Who knows, maybe it will be different now under Cynthia_RE, i guess... |
Please, don't forget that raketen comes from T0, can retreat and has great vet bonuses.
It is not match for the other ATguns but on the other hand it doesn't need any tech investment and has the best survivality. (And it comes in a faction without AT fighting issues unlike soviets)
U forgot to mention that it can go into buildings and is cheap, but the only thing that it can hit after so much aiming is ground, or if they aim really good then maybe they will hit a fence. It is a very crappy against fast moving/small vehicles. And i would rather have a pak/zis than this, i would even rather have a faust as anti armor in early game than this. Even if im 100% sure that i will be against early jeep/m3a1 i would not go with raketen, because it is so unpredictable, and takes so long to aim, and is most fragile AT in game, and not with best survivability. Some AT nades or faust is gift from heaven against early armor compared to raketen. Just to keep them off until jpz or puma arrives. |
I already see dead end for this conversation. I will say then that the game still has many bugs then why Relic doesn't put more effort to fix them, and pathfinding went downhill since vCoh and even UI is sometimes unresponsive. And all that affect gameplay. And you will probably say that Relic's effort are currently on something else.
I mean, what does relic do now? They are putting all their effort on making a new DLC for a game. And usually im fine with that, but not when the game has many issues and problems and u guys are saying that ur doing what u can to fix these things, but the fact that your resources are on making a new campaign is telling me that is a just a lie. |
Patching is likely a very expensive exercise for Relic, which is why they have stuck to large releases and only hotfixed major bugs.
If that's the case then why they are released with so many problems, news bugs, new balance problems, with so many ninja changes and wrong information. In every single patch.
If u said "Patching is likely a very expensive exercise" for CoH1 when Relic used their own downloader and everything, then i would believe it.
But not for this game that runs trough Steam, not when i heard many times from many different dev's from others games that now patching is very very easy when it goes trough Steam. Starting from dayz standalone developer Dean Hall, who said that numerous times. |
