Same thing could be said of the T-34/76 vs Tigers and King Tigers rear armor.
Well u can even say same thing about cons rifle versus King tiger rear armor if u want...
But, t34 is cheaper than pz4 and KT is alot more expensive than IS, so...
But still, i think that t34 is just little underperforming, but i would rather like to stay it as is than Relic try to "fix it" because they will overdue it like every single time when units need tweaking.
And to clarify why i want it to stay as is rather than direct tweaking of unit, is becuase i think unit itself is working good but problem is in call ins.

Silicone tits didn´t exist back then.
Hey, just like Obersoldaten.
But they still put it in game

T34 being better then Panther in AI.
Yea, it is a gold medal here.
Competition is still para Olympics though.
Well, he went full retard and said that t34 cant do shit against infantry, and that isn't true, and i said it is alot better than panther (which is true) and i got a reply "ha dont be stupid, stupid".
Makes you wonder... |
T-34 is garbage against infantry
Alot better than Panther. |
Does the invisibility require a sort of hull-down ability with a cooldown that either immobilizes the tank or reduces its speed and rotation like the forward scope sight on tanks like SU85s and Elefants?
Because if its just a passive invisibility for not moving, then maybe it needs a drawback of some sort. The cloaking may not be a problem in and of itself, but the way it cloaks and what sort of restrictions/tradeoffs it has does matter a rather big deal.
Yes, it is slower, both with speed and rotation, same penalty like forward scope sight. |
Antitank, with LOT of hp AND armor, with high DPS and INVISIBILITY?
Yea, it is fine, even after reading yours over-exaggerated posts.
It is more expensive than su-85, even more so with fuel penalty. But it has survivability and su85 has firepower, both scale very good, jpz4 has 5 vet but su85 with vet 3 is just a killing machine with that dps.
I mentioned fuel penalty because u can't spam them like u can spam su85 |
It's true that IS-2 and, 2x 85s usually beat a tiger. But Why shouldn't they? They are more expensive and are worse against inf than tiger. And ost has better options to support his tiger than soviets. Tiger supproted by Paks and schreks have advantage over IS-2/T34 85s supported by zis and ptrs. Jackson is dedicated tank destoryer and killing tanks is all it can do.
Tigers are good... IS2, 85s and jacksons are good too.
Now, i'm confused, why is tiger better with support? Pak is just little bit better against AT than ZiS, and u forgot one thing about schreks, this is OST schreks, not OKW schreks... You know what that means? Well, OKW schreks are used by cheap 5 guys volks that are unkillable with vet, but in this case... OST schreks that are used by high cost, high reinforce, easy to wipe 4 man pack of cigaretts called panzer grenadiers. And if your enemy is building pgrens and upgrading them with schreks he is doing you a favor for wasting a shitload of resources and giving you free xp. And after ptrs megabuff, IS with support is alpha and beta, becuase with that trio u can melt armor AND infantry (zis can still wipe infantry if you have ammo).
Only OST commander that is reliable with some fun factor is CAS, until the nerf when the next patch comes, so 5 months. |
Nope, this TD is awesome. No need to change, nerf or buff it. Fine as is. |
Naja, not necessarily. If you actually read through the German AARs, Tiger crews managed to kill IS-2s frontally from about a kilometer out, but reported that their shells proved ineffective beyond that range. In another AAR i've seen, a Tiger crew documented damaging hits beyond 500 meters, but recommendend opening only within that distance if possible to ensure kills. The IS-2 was a well armoured vehicle and afforded its crews a degree of protection that ie. a T-34 or even a Tiger I for that matter could not.
That being said, this is not an exact science. Angles, nonstandard metallurgical properties or imperfections etc can always conspire to greatly increase or reduce the effectiveness of any given armour layout, meaning, there will be freak occurences. Ie. during one particular documented engagement, two Tigers ran into 2 IS-2s at very short range on a forest road, and in the ensuing fight, a 122 mm shell bounced off an angled Tigers glacis from less than fifty meters out...
Interesting, Source?
Otto Carius said in his book . He said that he belived they possibly had a better thank, if not all around, they had better armor, but bigger firepower was limited by seperate shell loading. I think that theory that tiger couldn't pen an is/is2 more than 100m is pure bullshit. Documents are flawed and used by propaganda from both nazi party and ussr. I read couple of book that are about ww2 and i think that otto can be credible as good source, he had respect for Ivan as a soldier, not so much for Americans... As soldiers. He claimed a couple of IS/IS2 kills. A 5 i one operation, (note there were usualy 2-4 tiger in operations that was led by Otto) |
