Pershing do have good AI dmg, but its armor(270) is actually less than vet2 panther. Too sad... it needs to have at least 300 (same as tiger) IMO... In: COH2 Balance

It's a well designed gun especially for USF who was intended to make ample use of MUNI abilities instead of just slapping BARS around. I guess some how the topic moved from rak to 57. Hm... Turning take aim costs extra 30muni. So overall its 60 muni for a single fight. It doesnt give you faster ROF. It gives sight & range(+10) bonus for 20 sec. 57 itself has only 55% chance of pen p4 & 45% on Panther. So yes, they need to eat muni to deal with them. But vs. USF tanks, 100% on jackson & 81% on sherman. So I can clearly see OkW wants 57 rather than rak... In: COH2 Balance

Yes in cost of 30 muni. Not saying it's bad, but it simply means you need to pay 30 muni for everytime you want 57 to work as descent AT. In: COH2 Balance

I disagree. 57 is good on axis because it's low penetrate doesn't mean much vs allies low armor tanks. So it's characteristic (low pen / fast shot) works good. OTOH, allies would die to get pak40, thx to it's good penetrate & good skill that can stun the tank with vet1. Someone mentioned raket is bad because it can hardly penetrate kv1/comet/churchil, but in reality raket has higher penetrate than 57. (57: 150/140/130 vs raket: 200/190/180) Thinking about it, OkW p4 or vet2 OST p4 has 234 armor which is only 6 less than churchil. Panther has 260 by default and goes up to 286. It can bounce almost half the shot even at the close range. So... You see what I mean. 57 isn't the best at least on the hand of allies. Whom need high pen to deal with high armor tanks. I'd rather use 6pounder on this matter. However, I'm happy with where raket is in current patch. Raket surely was OP when it had both stealth move & retreat. But now it can't do stealth move, and it has less range than other ATs. In: COH2 Balance

Actually it will requare only tank, for 40 muni and the speed tanks are de-capture and capture territory its insane really. I'm not saying tanks should do that, but they are by no means should do it that fact. Tightrope did a video I belive showing it and tanks with Raidtactics are able to cap\de-cap almost instantly. And being only 40 muni, its very spammable ability. With such cost tanks should at very least not being able to cap points only de-cap them. And ideally tank cap\de-cap speed should not be equal to LVs one. Sorry about that. Thought they need inf. to get it done. It seems truly undercosted for what it does. And I give +1 for de-cap only suggestion. I agree with Breathrough cost being devatable. But I think (since the commander is mostly used in 3v3/4v4 & skill is used in late game where you tend to have fleunt fuel with no mp) costing fuel instead of muni is not that bad. But the price of 50 fuel is too much yes. I have no opposite opinion in changing it to muni-costing skill, but I do think some (including me) might see it as a nerf. In: COH2 Balance

They have the cheapest tank tech of any faction, this is balanced only by requiring to get some side techs along the way. AFAIK, (with less AI than stuart, but still costing 75 extra fuel) skipping AEC for early cromwell or even comet if you can afford it is a dominant meta. Go for the bolster upgrade along the way with saved fuel. It still gonna minimize 1-2 min. for tank timing. In: COH2 Balance

Sole reason for that skill is to use 'Close the Pocket'. Costing fuel instead of muni is very tricky part, but it seems they made it that way so player can use CtP more easily I guess? Making it to raid tactic & works only with inf nearby could results in bad if you think about the reason behind using that skill. You now will require inf + tank to capture enemy strategy territory. This patch that focuses on doctrinal issues so the issue of snare or not on mainline infatry for UKF is rather irrelevant. Imo the Vicker-K /Raid section will probably cause issue. Although turning Vicker-K into BAR might seem to be ok there are fundamental difference between USF and UKF unit that one should consider. IS start with lower target and better far DPS tha riflemen and BAR-K fixes their main weakness: Close DPS and on the move DPS. IS with 1 bren/BAR-K will simply perform excellent in all range. You've said raid section will cause problem. And I'm saying they are just like RM in AI unlike what you've commented. In: COH2 Balance
