logically they would have limit the bren at the same time as the m1919.
only elite infantry like the airborne or commandos should get double LMG. the Ober's lmg34 is basically a double lmg.

Ober's Lmg got doubled nerf.
Now a little better than the commandos bren (around 19%) while costing more and limited to 1.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Vet 0 double bren commandos have almost equal max range dps to vet 0 lmg34 obers.
Max vet double bren commandos have around 90% of the max range dps of max vet lmg34 obers.
Commandos brens are a little more than 50% better than infantry section brens (while getting their cover bonuses). Commando brens (and all lmgs that commandos pick up, I believe) can be fired on the move too.

Again, I know the values, but that's beside the point.
The point is an argument with unrealistic setup was used.
Do you know anyone playing multiplayer who regularly uses BRENs on commandos, isn't 4v4 player and have at the very worst rank 300?
Literally no one does that, because its not efficient muni use and it doesn't suit commandos role.

and the commandos bren is the second most powerful lmg in the game, being about ~50% more powerful than the lmg42 on the grenadier.
commandos bren isn't that practical because it's a side grade for them. the brens are still weaker than their sten at close range.
